Daybis' weight loss

This is my first post for my diary.

I am looking forward to getting back in shape. I am going to try and get back into a pattern. Right now I have a messed up schedule of sleeping, working, and eating. I hope to get my self out of this.

Here is my plan of attack:
No more sodas
No more junkfood or fast food
No more unhealthy snacks
Drinking lots of water
Exercis ever morning (plan to walk 30 minutes at first then when things get comfortable, move up to 60 minutes a day)
Portion control, I tend to over eat

Right now I am at 279

I am ready for tomorrow.

Anyways, went for a long walk with the dog tonight. Beautiful night. I going to school for astronomy. We had clear skies tonight and the path I took tonight allowed me to view the skies. It was great.

I quit smoking in December, and so did my girlfriend. My night was ruined to catch her smoking.... why??? I thought we were done with this bad habit.
 
Hello!!! Well this is my firts time in a forum ever and am really excited! But this question is for both of you, how do you guys post that ticker thing?? I did one, but I don't know how to put on ever reply??
 
Hey! I just started this forum today as well. You study astronomy? That is awesome! Kudos to you on that one; I stink at math and science. Good luck here and with your weight loss!
 
lol i suck at math too - and im a computer programmer/sys admin :)

Well, off to a good start. So far the diet and exercise is going well. I am trying to walk 30 - 45 minutes a day. I'll start running when a bit of the weight comes off. Only complaint I have is that my left knee hurts. It was hurting before I started my diet. My knee was one of the signs were my body says, "too much weight, go out and get some exercise".

I am surprised to be in a good mood. I had a bad day yesterday, but I had my diet and exercise to look forward to.

I use to think I was good at math. I am good if I know what to do, but sometimes I get stumped on homework or tests. Like yesterday, had an astrophysics quiz, the question that was asked was easy... I wasn't thinking and did it the more difficult way which gave me an error. hehe...

I love science. I wanted to go to grad school and go for my PhD. After doing physics as an undergrad, I don't think I can handle going to school for another 7 years. I was originally going to school for physics education. I always wanted to be a high school physics teacher. I think I might still do that.
