Hello everyone!
Call me Arabia!..I'm a university student in Canada..trying desperately to de-jiggle myself. I'm 5'4-ish..and my highest weight was achieved 3 years ago in my final year of highschool, 153lbs. Currently I'm about 143 (down from 146) and am looking to get down to 125 and eventually 120.
I checked my BMI today and found that I'm a 26. Not so nice.
Don't scold or scoff ..but I'd like to significantly decrease my size in 2 months. (to the tone of 10-15lbs) I'm going to be visiting family in the Middle East and I can't tell you how bad it has been to always be the "fat" cousin. (This was a spontaneously planned trip..I wish I had more time..)
I want to be able to feel good about myself. I don't want to look anemic..I just want to be fit. I want to run the stairs in University and feel fine. I feel like I'm not 'supposed' to be this fat..and that once I get down I will be able to maintain it. I go to the gym and swim..and I am focusing on toning up.
Today is day 2 on my journey. I'm doing a restrictive diet..probably not the best ever..but desperate times call for desperate measures.
I'm sure someone's been in a similar predicament and can help talk me through this.
