Day 1 of boot camp!

Well, I fell off the wagon bad in November and December and gained back weight. I'm on day 8 of eating healthy and have already lost 7 lbs.

1/1/07 Mon 226.0 lbs
1/8/07 Mon 219.1 lbs

Today was day one of boot camp:

Wow, I am trashed. We ran up to the Hollywood sign, did pushups, jump rope, crunches, stretching, yoga etc... 90 min. I committed to 16 weeks. My goal is to go home to visit my family after the 16 weeks and look like a million bucks. I bought my plane ticket for May 2nd. I've also committed to not eating out for the 16 weeks. Tina has me on a set diet and training regiment so it's a no brainer, I just need to do what I'm told. It was really fun to do the training this morning because we did everything as a group, if someone fell behind the others had to back track and help them. Very cool. It's 7:15am to 8:45am 5 days a week. It's super intense. Running hills is the hardest thing in the world for me so it really has me facing my fears. I feel like I'm really on track all the way for the first time in my life, I've been cooking at home and it has really help to change my thinking. I use to eat out every meal of every day, it was hell and impossible to stabalize my weight.

Hills.

Indeed cooking for yourself is one of the best ways to get to a healthier lifestyle. It also opens up the possibilities too - I'm very partial to the pineapple chicken lo mein I make, but try finding it at a chinese restaurant. Glad to see you're back on track.

Way to go .... I only could commit the month of January......my appetite has increased since I have started exercising..what about you??

Glad to hear you sound upbeat Hollywood!! And yes Hills are  . I run up this one hill by my house in the summer and it's a killer, let me tell you!

Good for you!!

Day 2 in the can. Yeah! And I went to the gym and lifted this afternoon. I'm definetely feeling better and sore as hell. Also day 2 on not eating out.

I just got home from day 4. This thing is amazing. I'm running 4 to 5 miles every morning thru the Hollywood Hills. Th weight is dripping off like never before. There's something about hills and stairs that just drops the pounds quick. I'm weight training 3 days a week too and eating healthy. No eating out for 16 weeks! 6 small meals / 8 hours sleep.
