Darned Tummy FAT

Hey all it's me again :p I'm currently working to get rid of some more fat and converting to muscle. Anyways I really need to work on discipline but aside from that... When I stand up straight, my stomach looks GREAT! Hardly any fat visible and it looks sleek! But when I sit down that's a whole new stomach. It's like a HUGE beer belly. It's so annoying :( Any tips on how to tone it? I mean I workout almost everyday whether it's my morning walks with my dog plus a 15 minute jog in the afternoon, plus the 10 minutes of situps I do each day, yet the fat won't go away. It looks like i have no abs at all and just rolls of fat.

ah.. i have the same problem. My tummy looks sleek when i stand up and when i sit down aww its like a whole new story LOL. I have been kinda dieting and doing cardio for a while now. Hope it will come off quickly for us LOL.

my recommendation would be cardio every morning - maybe run 2 miles on the treadmill or outside, along with crunches and leglifts. also cut the calories and really watch what you eat. it's the only way to get a cut abdomen, IMO.

Well i go by kilometres so I think I walk about 1 km in the morning which becoems 2.2miles if I'm right? So yeah i walk the 2 miels xD not run.

Watching what I eat is the hardest problem :(

a tight abdomen is just plain simply - a lot of work, no getting around that. i run 3 miles every morning, and keep to a very strict diet. also do the aforementioned leg lifts and crunches, and pushups and so forth. it's a sacrifice but you have to decide how badly you want it.

i take my runs pretty slow, actually. if i run on the treadmill is use it at about 65% of it's high incline (treadmills all vary on this, however) - and it takes me about 30 to 35 minutes to run 3 miles. when i run outside i mostly run hills, i just think it's a better workout. and i always combine the run with 50 leglifts and pushups, or crunches and pushups, or reverse pushups, etc. i also stick to around a 1,500 calorie a day diet, and try to stay away from sweets and junk food. seems really hard to some people but i've become pretty used to it. oh and i also ride my bike sometimes for a change of pace.

OK thx, i'm thinking of entering basic training in the canadian armed forces and i will have to run about 1.5miles in under 12min. Good jog i'm thinking.

awesome. as far as for me, i run about 3 miles everyday. i do it at night and then goto sleep. i have a diet but not kinda strict( well i dont call it very strict because i still eat something naughty sometimes) and i do situps( about 30) everyday after my running.

Wow it says 1km is only 0.62 miles! I thought it was the other way around! Eww so I only walk 0,62 miles in the morning yech!

THANK YOU NERF!!
finally someone got the mile - km conversion right!
(some people should 'work out' their brains)
lol sorry about the ranting. 8km = 5 miles
Gradually increase speed/distance to maintain a good heartrate when you get fitter.
