Daring to Bare Legs...

And so it begins...



My poor legs haven’t seen the sun in the longest time. I have felt seemingly ‘lardy’ for most of my life. I have seen both ends of the spectrum....Being unhealthily skinny (and a wee bit ano)...but now a little chubby indeed. It’s fair to say that food and I have never had the healthiest relationship. And so, in my most chubby prime, I am on a Journey to sport yet again the dreaded RAW LEGS!!! (I cringe at the thought). I have sweated out on the hottest non-pant weather days in my all encasing, thigh covering pants or tights.



So as I stand in my 5’3 tall and 72KG chubby suit, I embark on a mission to bare my legs again by shedding some pounds, and getting some confidence back ( hopefully)in the process.



In the past I have chosen the not so wise ‘skipping a meal and then inhaling a packet of chips aaaand a block of chocolate’ method, which usually leaves me feeling guilty and well....even fatter! So this time round I’m going to try a low carb diet that DOES include all meals of the day, thankyou.



I WILL HAVE KNEES AGAIN!!!

I hate my legs! I used to love them...and then, well, you know.

Any exercise plans? Or just dieting?

AOmg I hate my legs too. I have chunky legs and struggle to get boots to zip up past my ankles.
I've jst spent two wks in morrocco and my legs are the same glow in the dark white the were before I went lol
I'm joining running club next wk to move my lardy ass so maybe one day i'll have legs to bare
 
I hate my legs aswell there the same colour as an albinos its been that long since they seen the sun lol but i'm working hard on it, just like you, and im sure we will reach out goal :coolgleama:
 
Hi! Yes I most certainly am intending to exercise! I have a gym membership which i’ll be trying to use about 4-5 times a week - Luckily I do actually like to exercise, but I have been stuck in a bit of a rut lately! I have all ready lost just over 5 pounds in 5 days so I am very pleased! I have heard though that when you are low carbing, much of the weight you lose in the first week is water weight. However, any weightless for me is welcomed at this point ;) I do have a question though, how often do you think I should be weighing myself? I don’t want to be too obsessive over it.
 
You should weigh yourself once a week, in the morning. This is what i do and it the most healthy way of doing it as you dont become TOO obsessed with the scales!! Best of luck!!
 
AI agree with irishprincess once a week is sufficient. I weigh myself once a week on a Thursday first thing in the morning
