Thanks for all the comments!! Thought i would add one i took today. Some times i can't believe i let myself go as far as I did. So glad I"m on the rebound

Impressive guy. You're doing great. What does your work out and eating habits consist of?

Well, the main thing is i watch the calories first. My BMR is 3200 calories. I hover around 2300 carlories a day. For the first 2.5 months or so i stuck strickly to clean foods and drank nothing but water and eating 1500 calories a day. I had to bump it up because my body didn't like being starved of food.

I mainly drink A LOT of water, and only water. I ear at subway a lot. when i mean a lot, i wish i could copy my debit card statement on here.... like at least once a day for the past 4 months. I try to eat clean foods. I know i'll catch flak for this but i really don't have time to watch anything but the calories in my food and make sure i get a good portion of veggies and protiens in my diet. College , Work, and things like that make it hard for me to do this the way i really want to ( measuring food, actually buying the food myself (parents help me out here lol... sigh college), planning my meals things like that).

All in all i just suppliment my diet with exercise. I get on the treadmill and elliptical every day for the minimum of 30 minutes. I push my self on there ever day and make sure i keep my heart rate at max capacity i guess? (don't know what to call it. my rested heartrate is 75, when i run its 157) and I stretch before, in between and after my work outs. So my weight loss has slowed down ( about .5 to 1lbs every week and a half since the first of the year) but my measurements are constantly changing.

I know i gave you an eyeball full, but hope its the info you were looking for.

The main thing is i FEEL amazing. A good work out followed by a shower and a full day of work or school, i just feel alive. Life feels so much more alive since i started this change. Live inspired, and be the change guys! Every one on here can do this.

And I'm back. It has been one hell of a 2 year period. I started out this journey gung ho and did really good for about a year. Then tragedy struck when my father passed away in 2009.

I have been finishing up college and yo-yoing with my weight loss since i started my internship back in the summer.

But i've been back at it for a month and i'm feeling great. I graduate on february 24th and cannot wait to have 6 hours of my daily life back so i can rededicate it to weight loss.

Here are a few pictures i've taken since my wieght gain. I'm throwing down the gauntlet again.

---------------

Diet: I haven't gotten control of this yet. I'm very conscious about what i put in my mouth but that still doesn't stop me from throwing down on some chicken wings weekly or drinking a couple beers at the end of the week... I'm really still trying to figure out what is going to work for me in this area.

Exercise: So far this again is my favorite part. I make it to the gym every other day and have been working on improving my cardio. So far I've been able to do 10 minute warm up on the treadmill, 10 minutes of stretching and an addition 30 minutes of cardio where i walk at a brisk pace of 2.8mph for 1.5 minutes, and then jog at a pace of 3.5-3.7mph for 3.5 minutes. I rinse and repeat this for the 30 minute duration all at a 3.0 incline. I feel great!

Sorry to here about your father :( but congrats on graduating in Feb...

I've been known to throw down on some chicken wings as well LOL but luckily I don't drink beer. Your cardio routine sounds a lot like mine, very nice. You can do it, buddy! Much luck to you.

Hey Daniel!

Although I just read your thread I was ecstatic to see that you came back after such a long absence. I'm really sorry about your dad, I had a few deaths in my family as well that halted and completely reversed progress in the past. It looks like you are graduated by now, so grats on that! Let us know how things are going with you. You've already shown such significant progress and a great attitude, I'm eager to see you reach your goals!

Nice thread, Daniel :)

I'm sorry for your loss :( I know how difficult that can be, but it's good you're back to building a healthy life style.

I think of my mother when things get tough, and it helps to keep me focused and motivated. Perhaps you could do the same with the memory of your father.

You may be surprised to find inner strength you never knew you had :)

Good luck to you!
