So, I guess I should hop on the ole' bandwagon too. I'm never really good at keeping journal, but I'm hoping this one will be different.

My fiance and I started our diet almost a week ago. Right now the weight is coming off very fast. I'm happy and worried about that at the same time. I want to lose weight, but not so fast that it's unhealthy and I have tons of loose skin. I really need to start a working out, but I drive 1.5 hours oneway to work and stay there for 10 hours, so the time is hard to get. We are moving in a bit though so I can't wait for that.

Well, I better go make some food. :D

Well, I did my one week weigh in today and so far I'm down 7 pounds total. I'm VERY Happy with that. Considering I was only hoping to lose about 2 pounds or a little over a week. I know it's probably all water, but 7 pounds is 7 pounds, so I'll take it. :D

I've also started getting into some newer music. It's kinda helping with my staying motivated. Whenever I get the urge to cheat, I just listen to some new music. Helps so far.
 
Hey there RG,

just wanted to drop in to check out your diary. I wouldn't frett about losing more than 2 lbs a week from the get go. As you said, most of it is extra water weight and whatnot. However, congrats with the 7lbs loss so far. :) Good job! If you don't mind me asking, what is your foodplan/ workout plan like?

Also, I hear you on music. There's nothing like a good song that won't help you to push through a workout. What have you downloaded so far? I'm always looking to expand my music collection.

At the moment I'm doing a 1500 calorie diet. And honestly I have to say it's tough..... not because it's so little. But since I'm eating so many veggies, it's HARD to make it to 1500 calories. So at least I'm not hungry. Also, I drive 3 hours a day back and forth to work, so I can't really work out much. So basically, I park farther away from the door. When I need to use the restroom I go to the one farthest away. I try to do some ab tightening while I sit at my desk. I just try to get any little thing in that I can. I know it's not a REAL workout. But I have to take what I can get now. On the weekends I play with my dogs and do tons of house work. So I'm really looking forward to moving soon to be able to get a workout plan set into motion.


As far as music goes I listen to alot of Deftones, Scarling, TooL, Lacuna Coil and I'm starting to listen to Flyleaf as well.

Oh and of course, Pink Floyd :D

Why are we always nicer to people than we are to ourselfs? Lol Crystal, if your best friend called you and was so excited that she lost 7 pounds, would you say "oh its just water weight, you really did not lose anything." NO! you would be like way to go, keep on trucking, or great start. Do not get off to such a great start, and than just shoot yourself in the foot. 7 pounds is alot, you basicly lost a baby, when you lose weight think of stuff that weighs the same to what you lost, pretty soon you will be like, I lost an entire person.

Wow 1500 calories? See... that's why I could never be a vegetarian. I like to eat way too many different types of food. (I eat 1990-2340 calories as a result. haha ) Did you factor out your BMR? Just fyi, don't want you going too low, because you'll hit starvation mode, girl. Good on you for trying to fit exercise into your schedule, even if it's small changes here and there. They all add up.

Nice list of music. I'm a huge TOOL fan on this end. (Also big on Deftones (older stuff) and Lacuna Coil.) Have a good one.

No I haven't. Is there a good place to do that? BMR I mean.
