If all days could be as easy as day 3 was!
I walked around a cavernous furniture warehouse for over 3 hours yesterday, testing many sofas and today my legs ache. Naturally I'll tally 30 minutes of exercise for that adventure seeing as it was meandering rather than walking. I found my sofa. yeah!
I took a now photo of myself. It's not so bad, and still, it isn't me. I'll crop it and resize it and post it here later in place of my over processed face photo.
I see lots of weight loss goals. 2lbs this week, 1.5 next week. How do you know you can do that? At some point in my cycle I gain water and I can't imagine how that figures into attaining your weekly goal.
I figure my goal should be to not gain. If I lose every week, even if it's just a tad, it's still a loss and that's always in the right direction.
After reading more people's posts I'm wondering if it's a bad idea not to have a time goal. I just wonder how do you know what is really possible? I want to loose 50lbs this week! okay... of course not, but is 10? is 5? those seem like big numbers to me... or maybe I'm wrong. I don't want any outrageous celebrity weightloss numbers, but I want a loss, and I can't (at the moment) do any cardio, so I really think that I'd do better to wait on putting any time parameters on my goal.
I'll be happy if the number gets smaller every time rather than larger or stagnates. Today is day 4 and I'm getting excited to weigh myself so I can note the first step in progress. Naturally I'll be crushed if there is none, but there WILL BE or I'll have to kill something to make myself feel better.
I wasn't hungry again, which is good, but I was exhausted after my day of sofa hunting. I crashed, almost literally, before 8pm. My achey body didn't really want to get up today either. This must be that tiredness thing?
Yesterday was awfully easy... makes me a bit suspicious! Roll on day 4!
