creatine help needed

Hi, Ive just joined and this is my 1st post, sorry if im asking dumb questions...

I started weight training in November, and started taking protien in january, Ive got really good results and am very pleased. I decided to take it up a notch by taking ATP Creatine liquid formula. The past two workout ive had have been fantastic. in two workouts my bench press has gone from 18kg Dbells 3x8 to 24kg 3x8. Everything has improved in a simular way. However ive just heard that creatine is bad for you. But im not sure if the ppl I talk to r clued up on liquid creatine.
Can anybody help? Some ppl say you should do 1month on 1month off. And drink tonnes of watter (is the water to help the creatine work, or get it our of ur system???) But on the bottle it says you dont need to take any extra water.

Sorry its a lot of questions. I'll be very thankfull for any help.

No one has proved that Creatine is bad for you PERIOD.

Do 3 months on and 1 month off.

Water is good with or without Creatine. Drink LOTS (1 - 1.5 gallons per day). This will help with reducing fat, increasing muscle and health.

the liquid creatine contains very little actual creatine in it. the powder would be the way to go.

and bump to what rip said, no one has proved anything yet and eas came out with powered creatine in 1992 or 1993

Ok thanks. I drink that much water anyway so thats ok. Once im done with the liquid i'll order some powder. Can anyone recomend a brand? They all clame to be the best.

i use just plain ol' creatine monohydrate and eat some simple carbs while drinking the creatine.. it lets me know exactly what im putting in my body, that way there is no perservatives or anything like that.

creapure means that where it was made has passed FDA & GMP criteria, basically ensuring that what is says is in it, actually is what's in it.

in addition as what I know creatine becomes creatinine in about a months time in liquids. if I were you I would'nt talk to others in your gym or your friends that your talking creatine. this is because the general public think it's a steroid or somthing of that nature and in most cases they have only myths as there education on the matter, I have many personal experiences with this.

the body can only absorb about 1.25g of creatine every 2-2 1/2 hours. so dont bother taking the dosage that it says on the bottle. spread it throughout the day. like with each meal, take some creatine.
