Couple of Questions

Hi, at the moment, My current workout was about gaining strength. I was thinking about switching to get ripped and tone. My current workout is this.

On Monday Wednesday Friday
3 x 6 of 155 bench
3 x 6 of 185 squats (started legs late, have to catch up)
3 x 7 pull ups
50 x situps with 25 pound on my stomach

My max stats:
bench 185
squats (dunno)
pull ups 13

My stats
Age 16
Weight : 125
Height : 5'4

I was thinking about switching to this workout because i heard more reps = more ripped?

Monday
3 x 12 135 bench
3 x 6 185 squat
3 x 10 pull ups (i will keep trying to get 10 x 3)
100 regular sits up

Wednesday (basically keep wednesday same to maintain strength?)
3 x 6 155 bench
3 x 6 185 squat (trying to get my legs back into shape)
3 x 10 pull ups
100 regular sit ups

Friday
3 x 12 135 bench
3 x 6 185 squat
3 x 10 pull ups (i will keep trying to get 10 x 3)
100 regular sits up

Any suggestions or advice to my new workout? Should i even make this switch? Thanks i appreciate your answers.

If you want to get more ripped, THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS THE DIET, the workout routine is not that important. You can use the same routine that you have as long so you have the diet under control.

You need to have a solid diet, eat less than your caloric maintenance level, and do cardio few times a week. I suggest reading the stickies on the forum
