Countdown 44 to Boyfriend!!

Dear Diary,

You know how much i have been worried about all that extra weight i carry on me and the depression that comes along with it. My arms and legs are pretty ok but i have a super bulging stomach and unnecesarily big breasts.
Well, i want to change it all now. I want to look fit and hot.

I will be meeting my boyfriend after ages. I am flying to his city in 44 days and I want to look way better than what I look now.

I am gonna try real hard. Its gonna be difficult because I have never exercised before, but its better late then never.

I dont have to actually lose a lot of weight. What I need is toning mostly. I want to look presentable in a bikini, when i go to the beach with my boyfriend this summer and give him a pleasant surprise.

My goal is to loose 2 kgs and reduce Body fat % from 33% to 30%.
And get a comparetively flatter stomach.

My current weight is : 52 kgs Goal weight: 50 kgs
My current body fat %: 33% Goal: 30%
Stomach measurement at widest: 35 inches Goal: 33 inches

horrible day in terrms of weightloss. i couldnt do any exercise and ended up eating a lot of junk. This is a big demovating thing to happen on the first day of yourr program...but i had an urgent assignment to finish today. It came to my desk in the morning and made me stay there for 12 hours.

water intake : 1 liter
exercise : nil
diet: 4 ( on a scale of 1 to 5 with 1 for healthy diet)
 
Don't get discouraged hun. Just tell yourself that you can do this for yourself. Remember " you " are the reason!! Dont let your mind make excuses for you not to work out. You always feel better after a good session at the gym or a walk/run. Good luck!!
 
No junk food! A little is okay in moderation but just make sure you only buy healthy things! I find that if I have junk in my house/at work then I'll just grab it but if I know I'll have to walk to the shops to get it--it makes me reconsider.

How come it's so long til you see your boyfriend again? Me and my partner were long distance for a long time and the longest count down I had was 125 days. TORTURE!

Thanks KTSpeedhorse. I am gonna stay focussed and no matter what happens in the day , i am gonna stick to a healthy diet and throw in a bit of exercise each day. I am gonna make it , i am sure. m

Hi Sunflower, thanks for your suggestion. I have eliminated all junk food and liquid calories from my diet. I am sticking to water . and i have stopped eating out and takeaways. and i plan to do breathing yogs for 15 mins everyday.

I stay with my boyfriend in another city. I had just come to another city for a office project. It was difficult at the beginning, staying awaay from him, but i guess now i like it when he misses me so much. It sort of strenthens our relationship. :) Hope yo and your boyfriend are doing well .

It was a good day over all.

As promised there were no liquid calories i my diet today.
For breakfast i had lots of cucumbers.
For lunch i ate chicken and rice.
For dinner I again had rice and chicken but a very little quantity of it.

--I exercised for 30 mins.
--I drank 3 litres of water.

I am off to a bumpy start in terms of exercise. since I havve never exercised before in my life, i find it very difficult to do it now. I was a couch potato all my life. Do you guys have any exercise suggestiosn for a beginner like me?

Also sometimes i feel hungy and need a snack but i am scared to et as everything seems to contain a zillion calories. Can someone tell me about some snack type food, which has lesssr calories. As I am not from North America, please refrain from using brand names of food as I might not find that in my country. A general idea of the type of food wwould be great.
