Hello to my first entry :)

OK, so admittedly I'm not really overweight. But I'm not all that healthy and very very lazy. I also let food swing my mood around, to the woe of my boyfriend - who tells me I'm perfect the way I am (I love him so much).

My goal is..
1. To gain control over food. I tend to eat to cheer myself up too often.
2. I also want to drink more water.
3. I want to excercise more and rock a bikini like no other!

Today's Menu:
- Skipped breakfast :(
- Spaghetti for lunch: I meant to have just a small portion but I ended up boiling more pasta than I expected :(
- Chicken kebobs with a light cesar salad :)
- Mood eatage: none.. a glass of lemonade sort of :)
- Water consumption: not enough! I'll have a glass right now

Todays' Excercise:
- 9 sit-ups haha :(

Tomorrow I need to go grocery shopping. I wrote out a menu plan for the week so I won't buy on impulse.
I'm downloading an excercise DVD called Slim in 6, but it's going slow so I'll have to wait a couple of days. It's supposed to give me a beach body in 6 weeks heh.

Right now I'm thinking this diary thing does work; I already feel better for writing all this down. Good night!

I was naughty yesterday. Had a nice lunch - a light caesar salad with half a sausage chopped in (I simply cannot eat salad with some sort of garnish). For dinner though I decided to make sweet and sour shrimp, which was not a good idea. What was I thinking? I clearly wasn't! It tasted good but I felt like crap after. And to add to that my boyfriend decides to make cinnamon rolls 10pm at night! He's always skinny no matter how much he eats so he just doesn't seem to understand.
He kept urging me to have one - and I had two! Haha

I drank a lot of water though, that is good.

Today my 'Slim in 6' download finished so I tried it out. (Please don't follow my example, piracy is bad! But I've wasted money on so many crappy exercise videos in the past so now I try to find ways to check things out for free.) I don't have any of the instruction pamphlets etc. so I was pretty confused as to which of the 5 videos I was supposed to follow, exactly. Surely not all 5! One of them was called 'Start it Up' so that seemed like the right pick. The routine is great.. I feel like it really put the focus on the areas I need most work - well there's really just one area - my ass! For an Asian I have an unusually pompous ass.

On the menu for dinner today: Strawberry Balsamic Chicken. I haven't tried it before but it looks like a good diet recipe. I'm a avid wannabe-cook if you couldn't tell.

I would like to update this thread with some numbers but my scale broke, hah, and I don't have a tape measure!
I'm getting both today though so I can update that later today.
 
that sounds tasty - bet it'd be good with other yogurt flavors too like blueberry or peach.... enjoy :D

I'm totally a frustrated chef...
 
I had to fly to Toronto for a week (I live in Vancouver) so it's been a while since I updated.

I acted like a total nutcase today. I have an awful habit of comparing myself to random girls passing by and sometimes I ask my boyfriend trick questions like "am I about her size?".. which is totally a trap and moderately cruel because there's not really a right answer. Today I put him on the guillotine by pointing out a girl who I thought looked way chubby and my boyfriend answered that yes, she was about my size. Wrong answer! I acted pissy the rest of the way home and drove my boyfriend insane. Poor guy..
Am I sorry though? .. Only a little bit to tell the truth. How dare he think I was her size?? :p

On the menu today:

1 Tofu pattie for lunch -
disastrously flavourless.. need more soy sauce next time

Bunch of nachos with cheese and sour cream and two pieces of pizza with italian sausage for dinner -
Haha! Yes. It was a belated birthday dinner though! ><

Exercised in the morning for about 45 minutes. I can tell I'm getting stronger bc I can do upto 15 push-ups now. When I started I could barely do one.

My weight is at 122 but that's in the morning when my food is all digested etc. I just came home from dinner right now and there's no way I would weigh myself in this state!

I haven't eaten yet today and I have the biggest urge for KFC.
I mean, wouldn't it be ok to just have it, and then not eat for the rest of the day?

Someone get me a will power pill.
 
one meal a day isn't' overly healthy for you... if you want the KFC, have it - just check the website for nutrition info and figure out what's a reasonable amount o calories you can have.

Depriving yourself leads to binges eventually soi you have what you want, in moderation, no harm done... just stick with your daily calories and don't go crazy

Oh my weight dropped to 120 this morning but I'm pretty sure it's cos I emptied my bowels last night. (Too much information, I know)
