Coco's diary for the better self.

Thanks for posting in my diary! I really appreciate your support. It seems like you're definately back on track with the cardio now. That's great! Keep it up!

Ooops!:) I so hoped that my diary would stay in the past. The truth is, I found it depressing to write down everything I did or ate during the day. Also, I am feling a great deal of shame:( . I came here after loosing 53lb (SW 235) in search of inspiration and motivation to go on. However, the summer was very difficult for my family and I - my beloved mother in law has passed away. She was sick for a long time and I was the one to take care of her. To make the long story short, I got very depressed and let myself go AGAIN! and sure enough gained back 33lb. Needless to say, I thought people here will be really disgusted with my lack of will power....It took me a while to come back here and to face the fact that I am 213.5lb. 5 weeks later I am 20.5 lb. lighter and my current weight is 192.5lb. Gosh, I really feel like such a looser!:(

Coco - I'm so sorry for ressurecting your diary then :(

However, never feel bad for coming *back*
What a difficult time you've been through, I too take care of my MIL (she's 83) and know how hard it will be for me at some point :(

You're here now, and ready to beat this - dust yourself off and welcome back!

You’re back on the wagon Hun that’s all that matters. Pick your self up dust your self off and here we go again. Have a wonderful week.

M2M :) , please, do not feel sorry for ressurecting my diary. I would eventually have to take a look at it, right? So, why not face the music now?

I feel your pain with regards to taking care of your Mother-in-Law. I did it for almost 6 years and every year it got more difficult. She was a wonderful, kind Lady and I loved her very much. I wish you and your family
all the best :)

Thank you, Rosered :) . I even signed on to Halloween Club here on this forum to loose weight. I just hope to keep going strong because it SO very hard to get back on track!

Hey CoCo...just wanted to say hi. I saw that you joined the Halloween challenge. I'm in too! It's going to be great and you will have reached your goal before you know it!

Losing a family member is always difficult, but I am glad for you that even though you are grieving, you are now taking care of yourself too. Best of luck with your goals!

Hey Coco!! You and I are on the same team for the Halloween challenge so I wanted to stop by and say HI!! :)

Hey Coco,

I went through a lot of the same thing when my grandfather passed away. I binged and binged and wallowed in my emotions and gained about 10 lbs, which I have lost now and a few more. Grieving is a hard thing and everybody deals differently. Your on the right track now, and more than anything your mother in law would want you to be happy and healthy. Use her as part of your motivation. I use my grandpa as motivation because more than anything he wanted to see me lose the weight so I could be healthy, happy, and live a long life. He loved me no matter what but he saw how unhappy I was and knew I had potential, just like your mother in law did.

Sorry to drone on and on....
