Club 140s

Oh, Stasia, I want you in this club so bad! Where are you at now? Once you get here (which will be soon, I'm sure), we should totally like... do it together. (Ahaha that doesn't sound too right... it's too early in the morning for me to think clearly )

Hahaha, I can't wait to do it with you Cheiri!! I weighed 157.6 this morning. 7.7 more pounds to the 140s! I know it's a lot, but I know I can be there in a couple weeks if I work hard enough.

Hoepfully I'll be in the 130's by then, haha! You'll have to catch up with me ;)

*runs off into the pool*

Oo, congratulations, Amiwry! We're the same weight! Haha I did pretty well today. I played in the pool and walked, but only did half of my cardio video and ate about 1300-1400 calories instead of the 1200 I was supposed to. I did better than yesterday though!

Hm, I think that range is still fairly good, though. Which reminds me that I should start counting what I eat again xD

I think of my BMR as "dollars" I can spend and exercise as dollars I earn. I'd like to start saving about 300 every day.

Amiwry I think of it kind of like that, too! I think of it as more of "points" and that I have a certain amount to "spend" and a certain amount to get (excercise) every day. If I don't earn enough or spend too much, then I know I've done wrong, haha. It's easier to look at the 400 calories you have left to eat and think of it as 400 to spend on something (I enjoy shopping, so this is a cool thing) rather than "Oh, I can only have 400 more calories...".

I was looking for a 140s club also

I am at 146 wanting to be between 125 and 128 by summer. I have went from 164 to 146 in the last 6 months I would like to lose weight faster than that just cant get motivated, It seemed to be easier to lose weight faster when I was working and being a full time mom. Now just being at home makes it more difficult to exercise and stick to a diet. :newbie::driving:

Welcome to the club, Hottiebysummer! Heh, nice name. I hope to be one, too ;) Anyway, I'm at 147 now and hope to be 120ish. I feel so much more... -I dunno, official? Motivated?- now that I can talk to people who are at the same weight I am! It's so cool.

I did good today, guys! I ate my planned 1200 calories (binged a little on Doritos, but at least I didn't go over) and I'm resisting this milk chocolate Dove bar sitting in front of me... I'll probably work it into my plan tomorrow, but it's so hard not to eat it... but for this tiny bar, about 5 inches long and barely 1 inch wide, is a whole 200 calories, 12 grams of fat, and 20 grams of sugar! Holy cow! But it's so yummy. Maybe if I'm good I'll have one little piece of it a day for the next few days. Yeah, that sounds good. So yeah.. anyway... um, I didn't do my cardio video but I had an hour of ballet class today, so I still burned about the same amount of calories. Overall, I'm pretty happy about my day =)

I started a FitDay log and today I stayed below the recommended 1300. I just hope I did a competent job entering portions and that the math for that program is sound. o.o

Yeah, I hear you. I'm also using a counting program for my calories (taken in and spent) and I hope it's good, too! Another thing is portions. I watched that youtube thing about how it's really smaller than we think, and was like "Whoah!"

Huh. So I weighed in this morning at 144, which means either a) the digital scale is inaccurate, b) I've lost a lot of water/glucose, or c) I originally retained a lot of water/glucose, since you can't lose 2 lbs of fat in one day.

I hope it's real! That would be really awesome. That happens to me all the time, though, but I think it's my older-than-I-am digital scale. It says "120-something", sometimes, too, and I just wish it were real, haha. But I know it's messed up because it also goes to like, 69 lbs and such. At least it's accurate most of the time, though, because Im about the same weight at the doctor's.

How are the rest of us 140's doing? I think I'm down to 146.5 now-- almost to the halfway point! Eee!:biggrinjester:

That's great, Cheiri!

God, I was thinking about college living the other day. I really hope I can find ways to cook for myself. No way am I going to undo my progress because of campus food >_<

Amiwry I was thinking about that, too. I'm going to look up simple, cheap, quick, healthy recipes (or invent some of my own) and make a little convient book of them to have near the kitchen. Really, cooking isn't hard and I know I won't have much time or money in college to prepare big elaborate meals, but I don't need to be eating Ramen Noodles for the entire time there, either! Hahaha.

I went to the beach yesterday, and I'm all sunburned, haha! But anyway, I noticed there are a lot of other people who I look good next to (not to be rude or mean or anything, sorry) even though all the hot 90-lbs spring breakers were there. It made me feel pretty good and was a big motivator. Oh, and I saw someone with a bikini I have (I wasnt wearing that one, though, thank God) and concluded I look way better in it.

Wow, I sound so conceited, it's not like that at all! :brickwall: It was just inspiring.

Ah, no harm in noticing how good you look every now and then.

I've never really gotten over how bikinis resemble underwear. At this point, despite looking decent in a bikini, I still prefer the tank-top style and some shorts.

Maybe 140s should have a swimwear contest for the summer. xD

I personally am in love with the 50's style one-pieces, like these: & .

A contest would be great! But I hope to be out of this club by then! ;)
