Club 140s

I've been a part of this club far too long now - since the end of December. Hoping to join the 130's club by summer!

140s for so long!

I've been sitting at 147 for a long time, since Christmas. I am happy at this weight, but I want to do some tweaking, so hoping to be 132 by the end of the year.

I have a small frame so am still too large at this weight. My BMI is still overweight and I really should be towards the low end of normal to be a size that fits my frame.

I hit a major milestone yesterday when I reached half my starting weight. I was a very big person for over twenty years. My weight went up slightly today - but fortunately stayed under my milestone.

I want to head for the 130s as quickly as possible - but sometimes things can take a little time this deep into a long term project.

Omega you are an inspiration! Congrats on your milestone!

I also reached a milestone today, I have lost a total of 60 Lbs, I am so excited. I don't think I can even lift 60 lbs lol, well without wrecking myself.

Kgirl - congratulations on your own milestone. :hurray: Sixty pounds is a huge amount of weight - and you are right to be proud for losing it. My 2.5 pound wrist weights are heavy enough for me - and I am not keen on trying to lift anything heavier. I have decided that we must have all been really strong before to be doing all that weight lifting 24/7/365. I wouldnt want to carry a bag of potatoes around with me all the time - never mind what we have lost!

I am about the same weight as I was about two weeks ago. It has been a turbulent time weight-wise over that time. I got rushed into hospital a week and a half ago and needed to have an emergency operation. I wasnt allowed anything to eat or drink for two days and had a saline drip constantly pouring sodium into me. I was horrified to find after three days I had put on over 8 pounds. It was a poor "weightloss" reward for days of not eating.

Fortunately my recovery has gone really well and I am fine now.

I have spent the past week drinking lots of water and have been taking arnica for the post-op swelling. I have got my weight pretty much back where it was.

141.6 this morning...

i'm ecstatic, i hadn't seen 141 in a long time...

hope to see the 130s next week, that depends on me, have to always eat my veggies and do some exercise

I joined today, woooooO!!!!! 149, I should be leaving within a month or so (hopefully).

how do i add my tracker to this site

If you dont have a tracker already - click on someone else's to get to the ticker create site, then go through the process of selecting the components that you want.

When the ticker gets created it should list the bbcode.

Copy the bbcode and click on "user cp" in the top bar and then "edit signature" on the left hand side.

Then paste it in the signature box.

You should be able to preview it and then save it.

To the best of my memory - this is what I did.

My best advice would be to go to the "club challenges" section of the forum.
You should find two threads there entitled
"3 months till summer challenge"
"3 months until summer challenge - results and scoresheets only"

Just join in.

Basically this challenge started a couple of months ago - but the person organising it and a lot of the people playing disappeared. A handful of people were left and they were getting no motivation from the way things were. I basically took over and have been setting weekly challenges which are designed to foster good nutritional habits.

Lets face it - it is all in fun and there are no prizes - so just copy in a blank scoresheet on the results and scoresheets thread and start accumulating points today.

If you try to adopt the challenges that I have set over the last few weeks you will almost certainly lift your nutritional game.

Alternatively read around the nutrition section - particularly the sticky threads. You may benefit from an account with fitday.com. I know many people that use that site a lot.

maisie_girl - welcome to the forum
Ttmazyck - welcome to the 140s club. Many of us would like to leave as quickly as possible - but my weight loss is not as swift as it once was so I cannot predict how long I will be here.

Hey, try it has helped me lose 30lbs and it makes it a lot easier to lose the weight. It basically sets all of your intakes for you. I usually go over all of them except for my calories. but yea, try that.

Thanx for the welcome Omega, I hope you continue to lose the weight although it is not as easy!
