Hello lovely forum people!
You might remember me- probably not because it's been so long. But hey, better late than never.
I just gave up , slowly but surely.
I'm 173 cm and 140 pounds.
Main goals are to get stronger and have more stamina for now because if I focus on weight loss I get miserable as you can see in my previous diary.
I'll introduce myself more as I settle back in the community.
Nice to be back
Hello forum!
I've been busy (not an excuse, I really have ;P) and am going to be so I'll probably update this once a week or so with what exercise I did and anything important.
My school has mandatory PE twice a week (Alternating between 30 minutes of sport one day and 30 minutes of running exercises the other.)
I walk my dog for 40 minutes almost every day. (It's been rainy recently, the little diva doesn't like getting wet.)
Nothing else this week I'm afraid but I'll try to do something extra next week.
Sidenote- Making friends by bribing them with mints and chewing gum has a success rate of 100%. Mwahahahaa.
Oh loawd my legs are so sore.
As promised I did a little extra this week by going for a jog. Out of the being outside for 40 minutes I estimate the running part was only 10...
I don't get out of breath (most of the time) it's just my legs can't do it anymore and I have to stop.
Still, it's good to get outside, breathe some fresh air, enjoy the sunshine and clear your head even if it is just walking.
Baby steps are really important, I've come to realise that more and more.
When I first got my dog a bit over two years ago I couldn't walk 30 minutes (with an uphill part) without getting out of breath, now I can do it no problem and regularly take longer routes.
Well I think that's all. Have a good weekend everybody!
For me my limiting factor for cardio are my legs too. Calves specifically. I can either run, jump rope or do step ups, but all of those hit my calves and after a while it'll get harder and harder to keep going. If you have a bike you could alternate between running and the bike, so you work different muscles.
I'm really gonna have to look for a few options too (No bike for me ), since I just can't do the same type of cardio every day and that means I can't exercise as often as I'd like to.
Time for that weekly update!
We did a 12 minute cooper run for PE yesterday. I managed 5 laps of the football field before feeling faint and sitting down. That scores a measly 1500 :/ ...
We'll be doing it again at some point and I really want to do better.. Practice makes perfect I suppose.
So for exercise this week I'd say it was better than the last two weeks. More walking and a bit of sport as well.
I'm going to try and get some green tea soon. I bought mint tea a while ago and I really don't like the taste. Do they taste similar by any chance?
I'll weigh myself on 6th of October for the Simple Weight Loss Challenge V2.0
I've started a doable personal challenge. View attachment 22350
The numbers I added in red are knee push ups. My arms are quite weak so that's yet another thing I should work on.
