I'm thinking about trying a mixed type of dieting, so that my body doesn't get used to a certain intake of calories each day and burn only a certain amount of calories.. Kind of like the one-day diet (which I heard doesn't work) but healthier..with working out involved.. does this sound like a good idea, or should I just stick eating a certain way?
I'm not really sure what you mean by a mixed type of dieting, maybe describe it a bit. Can't really comment otherwise..

What I can say, is that you might want to consider some kind of cyclical diet. The idea is that (and this is just an example, the numbers have to be modified according to your own needs!) you eat 1600 cals one day, 1800 the next, 1400 the one after that, for example, which gives you an average of 1600 cals a day, but keeps your body guessing a bit. I think there are more thorough explanations of this in the Nutrition or the Harsh Truth sections.
I live in the kind of culture, where people don't believe in anything they can't see with their own eyes. So "miracle" diets aren't doing very well here.

From my own experience I have to believe that the only thing that works is not dieting at all but modifying your lifestyle in a healthier direction so that you can actually keep it going for the rest of your life. All the other things either lead to yo-yoing or just plain fail.
omgg this is sooo hard... i followed no diet todayyyyyyyyyy
Would you like to post like a list of what kind of foods you eat and we could go through it together and try to pinpoint the good things in it and modify the bad ones so that you'd have some kind of a plan to follow? Just to avoid the bad feeling you get from eating things you consider bad??
Remember, a bit of chocolate never killed anyone.. It's the bad conscience you get from eating the chocolate that says "You were already bad, so this day is wasted, so why not eat more bad foods". And THAT might actually be bad for you.
I hope to hear from you and want to help, if I just can!
