Chance of a hand?

Hello there!

I'm completly new to working out and was wondering whether someone could give me some help with a few questions I have.

I'm 18 and fairly poorly built. Recently I've been picking up some flack from my soccer coach, telling me I have to put some weight on over Christmas in the upperbody if I'm to hold my place in the team. Playing soccer's really important to me and I couldn't bear to lose my place, so now I'm interested in sorting this carcass out :D

Now I am completly inexperienced in this field and have no access to equipment or weights. What do you suggest I could do over the holidays to see as big an improvement as possible in my upperbody strength? Are there things I can do in and around the house? How regularly should I do these(I have quite alot of free time due to college being out)?

Sorry if this is the incorrect section, any help appreciated,
Wayne

Pushups, chinups, bench dips, burpees, pistol squats, lunges.

There's i really good site called trainforstrength.com for using bodyweight.

But for optimal development, you're gonna wanna get access to weights, plain and simple. You'll adapt to your own bodyweight eventually, and then your gains will plateu.
