well today is officially the first week that i've completed trying to get back on track with my weight loss goals. This is my first diary entry though since I just joined the forum. Well I am pretty excited because this week i managed to loose 3 lbs by eating healthy portions and increasing my water intake :) . Im just a little nervous about the weekend because honestly thats when I tend to fall off the wagon most often since i dont keep myself busy all I want to do is lay around and eat. Plus its so hot here in CA who doesnt enjoy some ice cream?! I am just a little frustruated with myself though because i went home had a nice lunch (a turkey sandwich w/45cal wheat bread low fat mayo, veggie cheese and tomato & lettuce) with a diet snapple and I know I was full. Well i get back to work after eating the sandwich and they were having pizza so what did I do? I ate a slicy of pepperonni pizza? Why?! :confused: i was full i dont even like peperonni! :mad: sometimes i get so angry at myself for not thinking before I eat. :(
 
Sounds like you are doing great! Congrats on the loss so far, it's awesome!!
Weekends can be tricky sometimes! Evenings are my bumps in the road! Best wishes and good luck this weekend!! :)

Thanks to everyone for all the responses. So today is my weight in day after work. Im a little nervous since friday night consisted of late night drinking an a drunk visit to Denny's Restaurant. Not good. Well I tried to make up i've been doing pretty good on increasing my physical activities I took a long 1hr and a half walk on sunday and another hour today. That's a not bad considering I've been a couch potato for the past 3 months. I am hoping to get some other type of exercice in today maybe some resistant training. I have also been doing pretty good on my water, but i gotta confess I did have quick a little bit of ice cream late night last night. I just cant control my sweet tooth! I love sweets! that's one of my biggest weaknesses. well I guess the scale will tell once I step on it in 2 hours!

thanks to everyone again you guys are just too nice! hi amomono, I know its only a little bit but lately its seems SOOO hard to accomplish!!! My biggest weekness is sweets i LOVE chocolate and if I could I would eat in for breakfast lunch& dinner. Thats just gross i know but I havent been dealing with my sweet tooth very good and my weight in weight this week was 150lbs which is 2lbs more than last time I weighted in. I guess the only good thing about this problem is that im the only one that can fix it. I just need to get ahold of myself. Its just hard and all the stress life puts on you makes it extra harder not to reach for that chocolate bar. I would love to be buddies and just keep each other motivated I have 15lbs to loose you have 10lbs we can do it!! What are your weekness with food and how do you overcome them?
