Cat's Meow's Diary

So I haven't exercised in over a month. Since about a week before my wedding. It's been a long enough break. There's a gym right in the apartment complex. I need to get moving again. I feel very blah.:(

I've been at this whole weight loss thing since about last April. I had planned to be at my goal by now, but I've lost 45lb of the 80-85 I wanted to lose. My self diet online thingie expired so I have to find a way of keeping track of my intake and make sure I'm getting everything I need.

Don't stop now--keep moving. Never cease activity. Marriage is no excuse! Make plans to exercise, keep a calendar, and check off your workouts. Or something! Don't give up! The worst thing you could do it stop paying attention to your goals and let the weight creep back up....OK??
 
Yeah you're right. A loss is a loss no matter how much it is or how long it took. The important thing is that I keep at it. So I'm paying attention to what I'm eating and going to track calories again. I'm taking walks with my husband in the evening. So that's a start again.
 
Back to Basics

So it's back to Jazzercise again tonight. There are 7 classes a week at this site. It's pretty ambitious to try to attend them all but I'll try. The 4 evening classes are a definite though. :)

Sounds great, lots of peeps on here are trying new classes, myself included--for me it's belly dancing and yoga..going OK but it IS talking away a little from running. I bet Jazzercise is way more intense than BD!
 
So jazzercise won't start up until next week. The church that they have it on is doing some fundraiser stuff so the gym isn't available. I've been going to the gyn here at my apartment complex and doing at least a half hour on the gazelle thingie with my husband. Either that or walking around a lot. Did some shopping, bought some new tops. Feel ok. Still bummed about the weight gain but feeling that way isn't going to do me any good unless I use it as motivation to do better... But I'm happy. So I'll make it.
 
Started back to jazzercise last night and I think I was trying to hard. I think i was hopping around on my toes too much and pulled my calf muscles right below the backs of my knees. That and I probably need to stretch more. I've lost a few pounds. I've been really watching what I'm eating now since the first of the month. A few pound at a time and I'll make it to my goal.
