cardio while bulking

instead of doing 2 HIIT sessions a week while bulking would it be ok if i did 1 HIIT then either swimming or medium paced run for about 20-25mins?

It's so hard not to think of that Adam Sandler song everytime i hear someone use the term "medium pace". Go ahead call me immature, but you were all thinking it too ;)
