Cardio Plateau?

hey i was wondering if you do the same kind of cardio for a really long time can it stop being beneficial or if you ran like 4 miles a day or burned like 300 cals daily on a treadmill, would it always be....good for you?

I would suggest to keep on doing what your doing until your progress is haulted. That is when a change needs to be made.
 
Cardio

It's almost like everything else, if you do it the same way everytime for a long time, it will eventually stop producing the desired results. If you notice that you're not getting any productivity out of your work-out, start looking for ways to spike it up a bit. A good example would be HIIT training.
 
It obviously depends on your goals. Running 4 miles everyday for me would not be beneficial to my goals. Yes my heart would like it but my goals to add more size and muscle would suffer.
