Cardio morning and evening

Last night i did my weights session, then this morning i went for 20 minutes HIIT on the treadmill. If i go again tonight around 8-9pm will it effect me in a bad way or is that fine to do that??

I was just wondering because it might mean i'm not resting my muscles properly if i'm running twice the day after lifting??
 
I am no expert, but from what I understand is you should give your muscle group at least 24 hours of rest befor working them again.

I think you are doing to much.
 
My only reason for going to do some HIIT this morning was because i don't have time usually to do both cardio and weights in one session.

I think i need the cardio to burn off the fat i have, because i'm not lean enough atall right now, and i need the weights because if i lost a load of weight i'd just be skinny lol.
 
Are you going tonight to do another session of HIIT?

If your diet is in check, this should be fine as long as it is your "off" day from weight training however this is all depending on what your goals are.
 
This is my off day from doing weights and i did 20 minutes HIIT on the treadmill this morning, i was thinking of going tonight aswell if this will help me in my goal of cutting down the fat and building some muscle, i don't want to be huge, but i want defined muscle and to lower my BF% i was thinking an extra 20 min session of HIIT tonight would help.

But then i worry about it affecting my progress with the weights if i am over doing it a bit by going twice?
 
If doing HIIT right you really shouldn't be able to do it twice in one day as its very taxing on the system. If doing cardio twice a day do one HIIT and one Moderate.
