I am currently trying to tone up. Right now I do 3 days of weightlifting and 2 days of cardio (30 - 35 mins first thing in the morning on an empty stomach) but someone told me I will need to do more cardio than that in order to reduce fat. My question is: can I do cardio after weightlifting or will this effect any muscle gains? I would just add another day of cardio but 6 days a week is a little too much for me right now.
