Can someone help me get slimmer?

Actually I do and and I was clear about why it was removed.

as far as your tone..maybe if you look at it as this is a family and you are wanting to be part of that family right? Maybe not saying that alot of the family is giving bad advice isn't the way to go. I'm trying to help you here.

I'll try harder to be less abbrasive.

But I'm still not clear why it was removed. No worries though, I'll try to give advice via the posts as best I can.

Why? (1) personal blog (2) Asked for donations

Just an update - after a recent spate of confusion about posting links, we, the Mods, clarified some of the rules with Sean (the board Admin/Owner).

Here is the scoop on the rules about links:

Links to known diet resource sites (fitday, thedailyplate, sparkpeople, and so forth); known healthcare and/or news sites (webmd, pubmed, cnn health, etc.); and legitimate fitness resources (lyle mcdonald, tom venuto, and the like) are permitted IN CONTEXT of an ongoing discussion.

The following links are NOT PERMITTED in posts or signatures:

Links to commercial sites, including those selling diet plans, nutrients, vitamins, cleanses, shoes, personal training, or any other for profit product or services.
[Exception: If you are posting in answer to someone who is looking for a resource for an item - for example, someone asks "what is your favorite protein powder" or "what kind of food scale do you use" or something along those lines. Legitimate discussions about particular diets may also have some links posted - for example, discussions about the Cohen's plan, or links to resources for those on Atkins, South Beach, WW, etc.]

Links to non-profit sites for any reason, including asking for sponsorship, promoting events, or bringing attention to national campaigns.
[Exception: You may post about events in which YOU personally are participating in your diary only; for example, if you're running in a 5k for breast cancer or something of that nature, you may post a link ONE time only.]
Links to Google searches on a particular topic. Google searches can be manipulated and used to drive traffic to particular sites. If you want to post a link to articles to support your information, please post links directly to those articles (and please make sure they meet the criteria for legitimate sites - not commercial spam sites).

Links to personal blogs, websites, twitter pages, facebook pages, and other social media sites, whether they are commercial in nature or not. This is not a place for you to promote your own sites or blogs to gain an audience, a following, or a fan club.
[Exception: You may list your website URL, your twitter page, or your Facebook link in the appropriate field in your profile, but you may not refer to it in your posts (i.e. -"see the link in my profile for more information").]

Email addresses of any kind. There is a PM and emailing feature built into the forum software and you can exchange email addresses privately with anyone who PMs you if you so choose.

Additionally, new members may not post links until they have made 10 other legitimate posts on the board. (This directive is straight from the Owner/Admin.) if you are a new member and have 10 posts or fewer, the moderators will remove links from your posts. If you post 10 garbage posts or one liners just to get to the point to be able to post a link, your posts will be removed and you will be banned.

Finally, do not post things like "PM me for more information" or "see my profile for more information" in order to circumvent the link rules. Anyone who does this, especially after having had other links removed, will have their posts removed and will be suspended for 7 days. Further instances will result in permanent banning.

Note that any link that violates these rules OR any link that the moderators feel is inappropriate will be removed at the discretion of the moderators.

If you feel that a link has been removed in error, or if you have questions as to why a link was removed, please PM a moderator and ask. If you start a thread to complain about the moderators or about the rules of the board, your membership will be suspended.

Thank you for respecting the rules of the board as you participate here.

Ah, the small print.

Apologies to the op for ruining your thread..

Please do not dismiss the rules of this forum as 'small print'. There was no attempt to trick you or hide these rules.

Small print is simply a turn of phrase

A very badly chosen one as such. Being passionate about something is one thing, but you are coming across as rather....dare I say 'arrogant'? Not just abrasive - we have people on this board who are passionate about what they do, and they certainly say it as it is, but not in the manner that you do.

If you come across in real life as you come across on this board, then I am honestly surprised you have any clients at all.

The problem I have here is not so much *what* you say, but *how* you say it. You make blanket statements at every corner, don't accept any opinion other than your own, and portray yourself as an expert on pretty much everything. Such things don't go over well on this forum.

I hope that the way this is turning out hasn't frightened away the 14 year old boy that started this thread!!!!!!!!!!

Isn't this a bit of a personal attack?

I'm successful in my field because I have an opinion and what I teach people gets results. I'm sure this will fall on mute ears but I'm actually fairly personable.

No, it wasn't a personal attack, it was an observation.

I shall retreat from this threat now, because I think it was hijacked enough as it is, and there is really nothing else to say.

Btw...it's deaf. Ears don't talk. ;)

JohnnyDaman- how are your workouts going? Keep us updated on your progress, I'm sure you're doing great!!

they are hard:rotflmao: i havent really been consistent with them either because of school and stuff...i have a feeling they will really work because of how intensive they are! i hope to lose at least a stone by febraury or march.
im sure when i get more organised in school i will consistent..

You don't always have to do the REALLY hard workouts to, if all you have is a little time even a little workout is better than nothing....

doing the workouts at least 3 times a week is good though. The more you stick with it, the faster you will lose the weight.
I really wish I had started losing weight at your age. I missed out on so much stuff from 14 to 20.

You're doing the right thing with your workouts and then you get your weight more under control now you will be really happy you did :)

Good luck
