p90 + jump rope HIIT?

Hey everyone,

I have a good amount of weight to lose, roughly 35-40 lbs, so I decided to take up the p90 series, because I've read a lot of positive things about it. Once I'm done with p90 I will be moving on to the p90 Master Series. I've been on the p90 (beginner level, not p90x) program for a little over 2 months now with decent results... I am in better shape than I was 2 months ago, but there is still stubborn fat everywhere. Also, I weighed in at 174 last month, and when I weighed myself again this month I had only lost 1 lb. I don't know if I hit a plateau, but it's really, really frustrating. My diet is pretty clean, small healthy meals throughout the day, and I allow myself one day a week to eat something unhealthy, in moderation of course.

So, I want to try to incorporate a jump rope HIIT routine to try and boost more fat loss. The reason I chose jump rope is because I'm just not a fan of sprinting. P90 requires that I do cardio 3x/week and sculpting (weight lifting) 3x/week so I am already working out 6x/week. What days of the week should I incorporate the jump rope HIIT routine, on my cardio or lifting days? Before or after my workouts? How often should I do it? I've read 2 or 3 times a week is sufficient. Thanks in advance.

What does your food look like for a day? It sounds like you are not eating as good as you may think.

Yesterday's meal plan. Anything I should take out or incorporate? My goal is to lose body fat as well as weight. Scale hasn't budged though, but I am losing inches. I am guessing it could be because I am gaining some lean muscle mass? Any input is appreciated.
