Calories burned with cardio...

What is an optimal number of calories one should burn per one cardio session...? (daily)
Is there such thing as too much of it?
And also, what is the recommended daily calorie deficit for someone wanting to cut bodyfat %, not weight..

There is such a thing as too much cardio. Really unless an athlete training you need no more than 60 mins. as for the deficit well that depends on your age, height, weight and daily activity.
 
In general then rule of thumb is subtract 500, to much more than that you can start to store fat, from what i have read 700 should really be the max subtraction. So looking 2500 should be the goal with a good ratio of protein carbs and fat. Most people starting out with a 40% protein, 25% fats, 35% carbs works out well for them.
