So, glucagon bring more sugar into the blood when blood sugar is low? How? I guess you have to eat something first, right?

But at basal levels both are being secreted. However, when glucose levels fall to a certain point, glucagon is secreted in a greater amount than insulin, but insulin is not shut off from secretion.
