Bulking

I decided to cut my toning a little short and go ahead with bulking. I"m 16 and 150lbs. People keep on telling me that I look thin enough, so I guess I'll go ahead and try to bulk up a bit. I don't really know how to go about doing this. I'm keeping the same number of sets for all excercises and changing reps from 12-15 to 6-8, and using more weight. I'm also just trying to eat massive amounts more, before I was probably getting in about 50g of protein a day, now i'm trying to get around 150g. Am I going about this right? Please help because I only have experience in losing weight, not gaining weight/muscle mass. Thanks :D.

ya u have to eat more calories to bulk try to eat 160 g protein/day(at least 1 gram/lb of body weight). thats pretty much all i know

Well people are going to have slightly different opinions on this but i'd go with 6 - 12 reps if i were. This is what i do and works great.

Try to eat about 1 gram protein/pound of bodyweight so you'd be aiming for 150 grams of protein a day.

Eat 6 - 7 times a day (once every 2 - 3 hours) and remember that in order to gain mass you need to consume more calories than you expend....And that's about all the advice i can give without confusing you and myself lol.

Personally I have found that you bulk cleaner eating about .83 grams of protein per pound you weigh. Just take your weight and multiply by .83 and thats how many grams of protein you should take in each day. It leads to a cleaner bulk with less unwanted fat. You still have to eat like crazy though.
