Ok, I have a few questions. First, as reccommended by some of you, I have been doing a lot more resistance training, and am loving it. It makes me feel great, and I don't think I'm any smaller, but I do think I'm harder over all. I actually seem to be gettting a little bigger. My arms, legs, waist. They're not as flabby, but bigger. I'm still doing cardio. What do I need to do differently to just tone?
2. Is walking okay as a form of cardio? I've been running, but I don't really enjoy it, and its bringing pain back into the knee that I had surgery on. I also ride the bike, which I love, but that doesn't seem to burn as many calories (maybe because you're not using your whole body as much).
3. How much weight/visual improvement can I expect to see in a week. I have an event on Sunday and would like to look my best. I don't want to do anything unhealthy. I'm just wondering what would be the best things for me to do to look my best this weekend. What and how much should I be eating? What and how much should I be working out?
Thanks.
