Joanne's DIARY! LOSE 40 LBS BEFORE 25 DEC!!!

hi guys! I'm posting here so I'll get motivated to keep on losing that weight! SO YOU ARE VERY WELCOME TO POST AND ASK ME QUESTIONS WHATSOEVER! :) My name's Joanne and I'm from New Zealand, I'm originally from the Philippines.

I started off as a 132 lb girl when I got here, but I gained the weight I dont know.. due to lazy lifestyle perhaps, after 10 months of eating takeaways and fried stuff, I gained it all! Yep a whopping 40 lbs... I was 170 lbs for 1 yr. Then I said.. SCREW THAT I'm losing this weight.. went down to 130 again.. then after 1 yr.. gained it and went for 170! Up and down up and down!

I'm now 170 lbs, wanting to lose 40 or so again! I lost that much in just 2 months last time.. I was on herbalife back then.. I have 7 weeks to lose the weight as I'm going back home and I don't want to be called fatso. So I'm getting it on! :)

Do you guys reckon I should just go back on herbalife? I lsot so much weight back then hmm..

I just got off herbalife and I really think it was what I needed to get this weight loss jump started and I wouldn't hesitate to go back on the plan if I need another jump start. I totally depends on your needs.
great job so far! And welcome to WLF

I think I should.. it really sets the discipline in and it really kickstarts the weightloss! and it really gives you that boost of energy!

When I was on herbalife I didn't need my morning coffee, that was worth it in itself. Also, the vitamins neccesitate a large water consumption, so I was diligent about my water intake. Right now I've not been that disciplined.

Hmm well... you could do the herbalife to jumpstart the weightloss, but I wouldn't depend on it like it seems you did last time?
B/c as soon as you go back to your normal self, that weight is gonna come right back on.
Losing 40lbs in 2months seems insanely quick. Make sure you're not harming your body trying to lose weight.

Just remember that a lifestyle change is going to have to happen if you want to lose weight and keep it off :)

I definalty agree with this. when I stopped herbalife that didn't mean I wanted to stop my weightloss. I started counting calories before I quit the herbalife program so I knew how many cals I was taking in a day with the program. I think thats where that program fails for most people. They don't take into account their calorie counts and gorge on their one meal taking in so many calories the either end up maintaining for gaining. Its a delicate juggling game.

Yeah thats what I'm going to do as well. Eat a balanced calorie meal for my one meal a day, maybe a chicken sandwich or something.

hey I've got a question, hwo many minutes of cardio would maximise weight loss?

TODAY
Breakfast - 1 cup special K 1 cup low fat milk
Snack - NONE
Lunch - Chicken Sandwich

Drank 1.2 litres of water so far!!

goodness reading everybody's story is really inspiring! So glad to be here! :)

I believe the america heart association recommends 30 minutes of cardio three times a week...but I could be wrong. I'd shoot for at least 45 minutes 3-4 times a week. I need to do some dang cardio...I'm a bad girl!
