Broken Arm

I broke my arm and i have no muscle in my right arm ( broken one) and my uncle said if i curl weights on my left arm the muscle will start to build up on my right arm is this true?

it is possable.. but since the only information given is a broken arm, it seems a lil extreem to have no muscle at all.. so there had to have been some recovery delay or the docters were pretty stupid..

ive only seen a person with no muscles in the whole right shoulder/upper arm region once.. and that was after a surgery where the arm was fixated not to move so there was uber atrophy... to such an extend that there were no muscle left

you broke a bone, nothing else.. sure the muscle might have gotten damaged in during the whole thing, but still. it takes about 6 weeks for the bone to heal again. in that time the limb will be immobilised to make sure the bone heals properly.. in that time the muscle mass will decrease coz it is not used a lot or not at all. i have never heard of a case where muscle completely dissappears in this amount of time and till i see or hear about it i dont think it can happen. (in such a time span)

OK, what I think he means is that the muscle on his right arm is weakened and smaller. What you have to do is, concentrate more on your right arm. Make sure to start slow, and don't push it to the point where it breaks again (lol.) Ask your doctor if it's alright to do weight lifting, because I know I broke my arm right before summer, and when I got it off, my right arm was considerably smaller than my left, now my right arm is bigger.
