Seasoned green beans can be great but be sure to check the label for added oil and all that if the reason you want to eat a cup of veg is to bring your average calories per cup down a bit. Otherwise boiling some green beans, then sprinkling on a nice spice mix might work just as well for fewer calories. I like simple garlic powder and chili flakes, or even just a drizzle of mustard or sriracha, but be creative! Mmm, mustard with added garlic powder and chili flakes though...

yes i have to bring the average cup amount down
especially since included in the plans average were
veggies and fruits
so if i choose my veggie right it can be soft for my teeth
and low carb to avoid so much insulin use and needles
i agree that boiling the green beans from frozen may be better
than canned for less salt reasons too
i can get them with no oil in the cans but real salty yuk
i never thought of a spice mix but not
a premade one due to the salt
i think garlic powder sounds ok
i have some mrs dash too

todays food--
2.5 cups ringos(yikes --salty)
1.5 cups beans in tomato sauce no pork
2.5 cups arbys

15 minute happy walk

havent been shopping yet
for veggies

I wondered the same thing, but only looked up Arby's, which are a sandwich chain. I had assumed Ringos would be like cheesels.
Of course, we have an Arby's near us, but I will have to look cheesels up, not something we have any more than Ringos. A people divided by a common language!

Blue, veggies are better than either, hope you can get some.

its pretty useless
i cant follow a plan
no matter how much
i like it or how i do at the
start

not sure what im going to do
now

Good for you!

What are ringos? And for that matter what are arbys?

Probably time to get those veggies.

ringos are a snack food
shaped round like a donut
with the hole in the centre
i believe its made of corn
and other crappy things like
salt and oil
arbys is a fast food restaurant
that sells deli type beef slices
on a bun
some with melted cheese
some without

yep time for those veggies

todays foods--
1 cup fried pork chops chopped up
8 cups of a sugar cereal

i know i had more but it was so much
it just continued
on and on

no exercise

i shopped earlier this week
and some things were on
for 50 cents
so i got a sh-t load
baaaadd idea
everytime i think i can handle
the extra food in the house
but i never can
but the weather doesnt permit
daily shopping right now

About the extra food that you bought because it was on special - is it the sort of thing that can be cooked and frozen? If so - well, then all is not lost! :) But if it's just rubbish which will make you feel bad in the end - maybe best to just ditch it.

You're the second person, by the way, that I've just read about here who was ambushed by a shop having things on special - those shops are really canny about where they place the "specials" and how to manipulate shoppers into buying. :(
So... fight back! I find shopping with a list is the best way for me - and the list is based on what I'm planning to cook and eat. (I do also scan what the specials are ahead of time, if I can, because who would want to miss out on good food when it's cheap - like a special on carrots or broccoli!)

I don´t think the plan is the problem, as long as it´s something that´ll give you adequate nutrition anything can work but you have to be able to stick with it. Is there any way of eating you can imagine making you not want to binge? Quite apart from weightloss, I´mean.

i like alot of them
but i hate restrictions
i used to restrict so much
i decided i wouldnt ever again

my scale was fixed today
so a bad day
i dont even want to record the damage
but its bad

exercise today--
10 minute bike
yesterday--
10 minute low impact beginners stepping video on utube

too sad to say much more right now

well ive been doing
10 minutes on my bike 1 day
then the next day a
10 minute beginners low impact stepping thing

food--
im still trying to figure something out

went to see a dr today
very high bp but no changes
made to my current treatment of it or the meds
i asked about something for being hungry
all the time
was there any off label meds
the answer was to exercise
i answered back that i cant do much for the leg pain
he said to swim
i didnt say anything back to that
there was no time as it was in er
since theres hardly any drs here
or places to see them

well swimmings not an option for me
as i explained in an earlier entry here
so much for the off label question
i didnt get anywhere with the dr anyway

so anyway on to a new day tomorrow

well ive been doing
10 minutes on my bike 1 day

10 minute beginners low impact stepping thing
Excellent. When you started here you weren't able to do those things without bad leg pain, right? Now could you maybe add 5 minutes of chair gymnastics for your upper body?

Just posting to say I'm reading, and sending you all good thoughts. Best wishes for today to go well. :hug2:
