I started walking to try to loss weight and i only been walking about 3 miles a day. :) After about a week i got blisters on my feet up on the padded part under my toes. I bought new shoes and it just put a blister under the blisters so i bought shoe pads and its still not helping. Now i havent walked in about 5 days and there almost gone but i can tell when i start walking there just going to come back. I need some advise to try and find a way they wont come back.

I tryed thin socks ,thick socks and seamless socks still didnt help.I also bought the shoes that fit the best i could find .(took forever)I wear summer sandels most the time.i dont know:confused:

what material are the socks made out of? you might want to find socks that have "wicking" in them- that's where the sweat goes away from your body..

sometimes the sweat that will collect in cotton socks can cause blisters...

I have had problems with my feet on occaision too, what I do is put band-aids on the spots I usually get blisters BEFORE I get them, seems to protect the area though I know it may get to be a pain buying all those boxes of band-aids :p

I think your feet are probably just adjusting to the different stress and duration. Let them heal up, then start again, maybe a little less distance, work your way up - your soles will toughen up! It's no different than breaking in a new pair of sandals - they rub your ankle or toe or whatever the wrong way for a few days till the skin toughens up.
