Stacy--Thanks, honey. The main trouble with the hospital beds is that her back aches. They have got her on some decent painkillers, and yesterday she spent a lot of time sitting in a chair for a change, and her therapist had her moving about some. She just wants a lazy boy recliner to sleep in like she does at home..lol
I try not to worry about all the things that could go wrong with the baby. What's the point? There's nothing I can do to change it at this stage. I am just assuming all is well (which it probably is) and will cross any bridges IF I come to them..lol

I just try to eat right and exercise and take care of myself. That's really all I can do.
Wow 90degrees!! The high here yesterday was only 55, and it was maybe 50 at the most during that rally. Since it was in the 70s here last week, it's quite a temp adjustment to suddenly make. But I'll take 50 over 90 anyday..lol. I can't take the heat so I stay out of the South--unless it's winter.
Margaret--I really did feel like history was in the making. When I looked around and saw a lot of black kids around me I wanted to say to them, "Look at Senator Obama. What he's doing is groundbreaking. If he can become president of this country, that means you, too, can become anything you want. The sky's the limit. Don't ever think the color of your skin can stop you from achieving your dreams." I just think he should bring a lot of
hope to minorities and all people who grow up in poor, single parent homes, b/c I think many of those people feel that there is no hope. Hopefully his candicacy (and presidency) will change that.
Sam--I totally hear ya, my fellow liberal..lol. I live in a predominantly conservative area myself, so I know how it feels to be ganged up on. I usually refuse to get into those types of debates these days--learned my lesson. Next time they attack you, just ignore them and say you refuse to get into that discusssion. Did you see the debates last night where they were talking about gay marriage? Obama seems to really be gaining in the polls, and McCain has bowed out of Michigan. Guess he knows it's a hopeless cause. Even if the west side of the state where I live is predominantly Repub, the east side is heavily democratic and more poplulous (there is one good thing about Detroit!! hahaha). But I've noticed lots of Obama signs here in areas that you would normally rarely see a sign for a Dem. Gives me hope.

And won't you have fun rubbing their faces in it back home when he wins?
