What did everyone think about Kim basically telling the team to vote off Amy? Granted if you are playing a team game that is the right move to make. I don't know, to me it just didn't seem right for her to restate the obvious. How can Amy put any faith in her trainer after that when she knows she was willing to sacrifice her for "the good of the team"?

U know that red team MAJORLY screwed up by going to a tie! The other team OBVIOUSLY was going to boot the biggest threat! Jim is looking great though! I have a feeling he'll be even hotter come the last show!

I love the show too, looking forward to tonights episode. Who is your favorite trainer and why? I was quiet shocked by the way Kim spoke to David last week, I guess Bob's the "nice" trainer this season! Okay, so I had never watched The Biggest Loser until tonight.
Frankly, the show bores me. They could do away with all of it except the weigh-ins.
Anyway, could someone please tell me what in God's name these people are doing to lose 10-12 pounds in a single week?

Awesome episode, by far the best one to date. My wish came true on who went home and deservedly so.
Neil is a total fucktard for throwing the competition, but then he didn't break any rules. I hope BL puts a penalty in place to stop that from happening again. Something like you lose 10,000 dollars for every pound over or whatever.

Nope. They did a reunion show, in which most of the people had kept off most of the weight - but they didn't show all the previous contestants.

BL & Bob should have kicked Neil off..That is cheating plain/simple and is not what the purpose of this show is about. 
Bob said that himself in his rage..{Man, I've never seen him that MAD!} I haven't missed a season yet, so Bob was REALLY upset! He was shaking.

I just now found this thread and I'm planning on reading the whole thing...but I just wanted to respond to this post. I record the show and I do watch it while I work out on my Nordic track. I find it to be inspirational. But then I don't weigh more than 250 pounds......Imagine if all the viewers watching right now who were ever 250 lbs spent those two hours exercising.
there was a time magazine article a few months ago - it's posted here somewhere - probably inthis thread too -many contestants did not.

Haha! I agree with everything you said, Stacy. I just got done watching it--and thought for sure they'd vote off Neil. I couldn't believe they voted off Jez. Way to reward cheating. I was happy to see that Jez has done well for himself anyway, losing over 100lbs. He looked great. I hope Neil gets his comeuppance this coming week.

Anyway, haven't been keeping up on the show so much since I went on vacation and then we decided to get a new tv so took the old one downstairs - only not to get a new tv for 2 wks!

It's no different than what Eric did last year when he forced Kai to use her immunity to save them from being eliminated. I like the show but really hate the game play they should have a twist that even if you were voted off at the final you still have a shot at the Grand Prize if they were the biggest loser.

I think the person who loses the least should just automatically be ousted each week. Maybe not fair if you're having an off week, but you know what will happen next week--Neil will lose the 17lbs he "gained" plus another 10--giving him 27lb loss and immunity. That should not be rewarded--he should automatically get the boot for that. The show is supposed to be about losing weight and being heathier--not doing whatever it takes to win $250K. Sad.

The way I see it, it's classified as a game show. Sure they're there to lose weight but there's that big money prize to shoot after as well. What Neil did was SOOO wrong but he is there to play a game and he took a big risk in doing so. I wanted him to get kicked off so bad I was yelling at my tv. I do love how he got busted!! How do you know what a gallon of water weighs? OOPS!
