Biggest Loser "Couples"

My brothers are identical twins and are 5'-10" and weigh around 130 pounds each. Granted they have very small frames, but they are within "normal" range.

I really have no idea, but its very low. One of them is closer to 140 and has a bit of a stomach. The other is in the army and leans closer to 120 and has to put on weight to stay in.

:party:WHOOT! for Ali & Kelly! Who ever would have thought two gals would be in the final running? They pulled themselves together and seriously kicked some big guy buttage!!! LOL

I think Mark is on the verge of getting too thin, ditto for Ali. But Kelly - she now stands a serious chance of winning! I totally did not think she would make it, but I am so glad she did.

GO KELLY!:auto:

Cheers

ps. LOL about the comment telling Mark to "put on his big girl pants, already!" LMBO!
I taped the show and watched it today. I think they are all winners! It is amazing the changes that they have made!! But...I want to see Kelly win. I think she needs it more than the others and she still has more to lose (which should give her an advantage over everyone but Roger)

I could not believe the huge numbers they put up this week. I'm thinking they must have included some natural diuretics in their menu plan this last week.

OH I'm sooo excited!! I'm so glad for the girls!!! I just wish they would have timed it better so they could have talked to Juilian or Ally afterwards.

GO PINK!!!

YAYHOOO - my husband had a chuckle at me because I stood up and pumped my arm and screamed when Ali won it - that was SOO SWEET!

Kelly - she was so close. But she looked AWESOME tonight. So did Roger. The kids and I got home around 9:30 so I only saw the last weigh ins. I'll have to watch it on DVR tomorrow to get the full effect.

When is the next season? Do they do a summer season of BL or do they wait till Fall?

God Bless,
mik

I must admit, I've never watched The Biggest Loser until last night. I was AMAZED at what some of those people accomplished but especially Ali! OMG! I couldn't believe it! She looks amazing! She got me out of bed this morning lol!

I went to a concert so I missed it. I did look at the finale pics on MSN, everybody looks great, congrats to all.

I watched the whole show this afternoon (I only caught the last 30 minutes last night). WOW, Bernie looked AWESOME!

I'm not surprised Paul wasn't there. I would go so far as to bet he gained all the weight he lost at the ranch back and some more besides. A lifestyle change simply won't work when someone really isn't ready for it, sad to say.

God Bless,
mik

Yeah I don't know, at 5'10" 169# Mark looks pretty good to me. His face is a little gaunt looking but I bet he can't see his abs yet. Ali is closer to being underweight at 5'5" 135#. Part of it is she wasn't blessed with a proportionate physique. Take a look at her legs, she is pretty thick through the calf and thigh areas but very thin through the torso. I'll bet if you put their stats into a bmi calc neither would be underweight. I know the bmi isn't gospel but IMO neither looks unhealthy.

alis calves are huge cuz she weighted a lot.. they will lessen in time..

great show though.. bernie was awesome!

 Whoot! for Ali! GIRLS ROCK THE SCALES! This season was just awesome on BL. Everyone worked so hard and looked so good! Could you believe Curtis losing 150 lbs!!! I am surprised Bernie won. they all just did such a great job! Too bad about Paul, I wanted to see him healthier. Hopefully he really was just sick, but it is fishy that he didn't even send along a video then...

Kelly looked terrific! Dan's mom was a hottie! Roger was fantastic!

Can't *weight* for next season...:auto:

Paul has had 5 surgeries since he left the ranch and is seriously ill. He's lost plenty more weight since he left due to being so sick * will find the news articles later*

I find that is the ideal body type, thicker on the bottom than on the top. I'd rather be carrying my meat on my legs and butt than on my back and stomach, and as females, we do tend to carry some fat somewhere unless we're very very thin.

I am sorry to hear that and I take back what I said. I knew he had pneumonia shortly after he returned home from being voted off (at least that is what I remember them saying).

I've never seen the show. How long does this contest run? These people are losing so much weight, I can't see how they can do it in a healthy way in just a few months.

I don't have TV so I don't hear much about these things, but I did hear about the biggest loser reciently when I called my old job. It turns out that a former coworker of mine, and friend, is the brother to the twins that won last season. I went to the website to check it out and what an amazing change. It looks like the progress should take over a year, but I can't imagine them filming it for that long

Wow about Paul and the surgeries! Umbra, how did you find out? What were the surgeries for? He and Kelly were my fave team from the start. I hope he recovers well and is able to continue with his WL journey!:auto:

I have to admit that I got emotional during the finale. I watched the entire season and watching helped to motivate me and pushed off most of the 22 lbs I've lost since Christmas. I understood the journey they were embarking on and how it feels to change your life, and somehow, it meant a lot to me.

I kinda wish I could have my own, local biggest loser. Obviously ours would take a longer time since we don't have a medical staff constantly on call like they do at The Ranch, but still - it could be fun and motivating. :)
