Today my knees feel fine, they feel odd sometimes but i think im ready to start squatting lightly. However my back is just f**ked.

Iv got habits such as when i OH Press, if im struggling with a rep i use my back to help me get that rep out. Not good, i need to stop this.

Havent worked my legs for over two weeks now. Low weight, higher reps, and form to perfection is what ill be doing today ;)

I think im going to start as low as 110lbs for squatting.

Also may i add, ima fat 227lbs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cardio stopped totally after my shins were f**ked. Shins are perfect now, we are starting proper cardio (i dont mean 5 mins treadmill) tonight!!! Plus when i finally start MMA on sunday that should add towards it.

Ideally now, a weight id like to be is 203lbs (14.5 stone). I am determined to get down and look lean. Diet has gotta be high protein low fat, ideally under 3000 cals daily.

I think your approach sounds good, light weight on squats to see how you feel, and how your knees take it. I hope you don't have any issues!

I know what ya mean about using the back on OH Press to squeeze out an extra rep, sometimes my back gets tired from those presses.

227 eh? That's only about 12 pounds heavier than me, and you are stronger in most lifts, so that makes sense. Well dude, you know what you gotta do. The only things I'd suggest, which I've suggested before ;), are HIIT and keeping a closer track of cals so you know exactly the number you're eating.

OKay, I couldn't help myself and I went and did some shiz yesterday in the gym...I only hit some upper body stuff, because today I had already obligated to workout with my GF on lower stuff...gonna try overhead squats, heard they are hard as hell to balance on.

Pullups
1 x 8 @ BW
2 x 4 @ BW
Dips
1 x 5 @ BW
1 x 5 w/ 10 lbs
1 x 4 w/ 25 lbs
Pullups
2 x 4 @ BW
Dips
1 x 5 w/ 25 lbs
1 x 4 w/ 25 lbs

A nice little combo there, 3 sets of each, then 2 sets each again.

Weighted Crunches
1 x 15 @ BW
1 x 15 w/ 10 lbs
2 x 15 w/ 20 lbs

OH DB Press
1 x 6 @ 90
1 x 8 @ 90
2 x 6 @ 90

Seated Row
1 x 5 @ 140
1 x 4 @ 160
1 x 8 @ 140
1 x 8 @ 120
1 x 10 @ 100

All done. And once again today, I'm feeling great. So today some lower stuff, then tomorrow completely off, then Friday a FBW again. We shall see.

And, why is that?

Why low fat? And, when you say low, how low....is low (LOL).

Are you contributing your fat gain to the lack of Cardio?

Or is it possibly due that you didn't adjust your diet for this calorie expenditure loss while allowing your chins to heal?

You ate to much......Big-T, and now you blame it on lack of cardio......I assume?

Nope.....you are at fault for failing to adapt.

Correct calorie consumption along with correct cardio can be a deadly combination for fat loss; however, Cardio can not make up for a rude and crude bad diet. Additionally, Cardio isn't required for fat loss.

Where are your carbohydrates going to be?

Your probably right once again :p

As for carbs, im look for a maximum of 200g daily. Not set in stone, one day it could be 100g the next day i could consume 180g.

And, your fats.......answer this buster!:jumping:

:)

Best wishes, he, he

Hmmmm now thats something i havent worked out. I should probably record calories, fats etc..... Like MMW said also.

I really dont know how much fat i want to be consuming. Hmmmmmm.

LOL..

Come on dude, it's not that much work to get stuff figured out! Then once you have a set diet, it's easy to subtract 100 cals here and there as you start to drop a few pounds.

For me, it's been the opposite. I started with 2800 cals and as I started gaining and then slowing up, I'd add in a half cup rice here, an egg there, changed to whole milk. I have to track my cals, otherwise I'd be lost.

Good God man. I keep my carbs below 100 grams. Most of that are from veggies. If you are anything like me you might want to try it.

You haven't worked out your macro-nutrients, fluctuate up and down on calories (on the surplus side) by failing to adapt to energy expenditure loss, and you expect to control--fat tissue gain.......:(

Its simple math really. I mean if you expend, for example, 400 calories on the treadmill, and the MT-Line (with this included is) 3,000c, and you eliminate it for whatever reason, and do not replace it with something else, your MT-Line drops to 2600, and if you eat at 3000-3200c, what's going on here?

Hypothetically speaking, you can gain more than a pound in a week approximately.

TRACK YOUR SHIAAAAAAT...........Young man. :)

Get your macro-nutrients together!

Best wishes

Chillen

Well cheers all of you for your kinds words, ill anal penetrate each of you later (with a horse hoof).

Your right though i do need to track calories.

As much as I harped on diet in your other logs.......Geesh.....You are a hard headed young man! (and, I don't mean the one between your legs either)

But, I simply will not give on you!

The diet is the boss, dude! And, once you start feeding yourself education, one can come to realize just how powerful manipulating the macro-nutrients can be--at the proper time within ones goal plan.

1. Track your diet, and adjust the calories where necessary to keep you on track.

2. Set up "proper" macro-nutrients.

How many thumps upside the head, and months are going to go by (being the same or near the same) before you realize something needs to be changed and end this frustration cycle?

If I had a boot.......I would plant it in ya ass! Consider yourself Booted! :):)

Only thing is Chillen, its only as of late where im becoming more serious about this. Thats probably the main factor to why im not 100% dedicated as in terms of tracking calories etc.

As time goes on i am improving my diet training more and more ;)
Im consistent with my protein intake, thats about it ATM lol. But calories, carbs and fat varies. I do need to sort this sh1t out.

Give me a slap chillen.

Only as of late you're getting serious? So you have taken me on this ride the whole time?! Damn you! No but really, you will be so glad if you take the time to crunch the EXACT numbers and work out your diet. It's how I lost 35 pounds 2 years ago, and it's how I will always get to where I need ta be.

Come on you b made ho.
