Big...But Weak....Help!!!

Ok so I started a diet about a week ago I lost 6.5 pounds in one week, not gonna happen again, I'm shooting for 1-3 pounds a week, I'm 17 6'2" 287 Lbs. Basically I'm a fat peice of sh**, I know this. Anyways, can I build muscle while I'm losing fat? On the bench I do 4 sets of 12 at 115 Lbs and I max at 205, I want to be way stronger than that, any suggestions? Or will I have to lose all the fat then bulk?

with the info that you gave us. it looks like you have been starting out. and 205 isn't bad for a beginner but its bad cause of your weight. yeah your big but that does not mean your strong. i've seen a 16y/o 140lb guy bench 250x4. just give it some time. eat clean, lift heavy, sleep and repeat. less carb and calories and more protein. do some reading and look around. good luck
 
It is called Anaerobic Exercises. You will burn fat and build muscle. Having muscle will help you burn fat. You will need to have more of a cardio workout then going to the gym and lifting weights. Don't follow Atkins and think the way for you to lose weight is to completely cut out carbs because you need carbs to burn fat.
