Bicep development problem

Im doing hammer curls and '21s' (7 bottom half reps, 7 top half reps and 7 full reps) using 34lb dumbells. I am pleased with the increase in size of my arms however when i tense them to their maximum, there doesnt seem to be any muscle about an inch from my elbow joint :confused: (if that makes sense). It seems to be concentrated in the centre of my arm, which i do NOT like. Has anyone else had this problem or and solutions to correct it? I have dumbells and a barbell if that helps. cheers guys!

That's pretty much due to genetics. It has to do with where the tendon insertion points are. Most people can put 2 fingers between the elbow joint and their bicep.
 
Yeah, i'm the same way. I've seen others with the same "prob" and it doesn't stop you from making badass looking arms.
 
That's what I think, but I don't know. My arms look good straight - you only notice it when you curl your arm and flex.
 
thanks guys, im not unhappy with the way they look, jus checkin it wasnt the excersises i was doing not working ht ewhole muscle, sounds like theyre ok though! cheers!
