Best Cardio

I believe I have a strong set of abs cause I can do many, many sit up no problem. However, I can't get rid of the fat on top of it. The rest of my body is pretty toned (arms, chest, legs) only problem is the ab area. I believe i eat right, lot of small portions of a lot of protein, but still no result after a few months like this. I also do cardio, 30 min runs for 3 times a week. Anyone got any suggestions, better cardio maybe?
 
I'd try to perform morning cardio on an empty stomach for 30-45 min 5-7 days per week.

Diet also has alot to do with it. You say your diet is good but post it up so we can get an idea of what your eating and the times your eating.
 
thanks for suggestion, I always do my cardio on a full stomach, usually hour after eating, I should try that.

Well I dont have a fixed diet, im at university most the day so its pretty much oven roasted chicken breast subs and grilled chicken burgers. Also a protein shake the days I workout.

Another question is, how many grams of prtoein should I be having a day?
