Bench Press?

What should your shoulder position be like for the bench press?
Ive always been told to push my shoulders back.
Just feel uncomfortable now when working on my chest since coming back from injuring my shoulder.
 
you do wanna hold your shoulders back..mainly you don't wanna move your shoulders forward as you lift, as that uses more shoulder to move the weight than you want.

a better way is to say you want to pull the scapula (upper back) towards each other, which helps puff the chest out and keep shoulders back at the right angle.
