Bench Press Max

I don't even know what I would be able to do once. I never really wanted to risk pulling something.

The last time I maxed on bench which was about a year ago it was 290ilbs. But I doubt I could still do that Im 6'' 194 ilbs.

I never tried a one rep max. The most I've benched for 6-8 reps was about 100lbs

I've never tried to max either, because I never have a spotter. My third set of 6, I push up 190. I'm happy considering when I first started, I could barely do 125.

For the longest time I use to work out my chest everyday I found out its bad for you because it breaks you down. I work out my cheast hard on Monday concentrate a lil more on my shoulder and tris now for some reason has gotten me stronger. Right now im just doing more reps of everything and some cardio to cut down on weight and get more cut.

8 reps on 225. however, someone thought my form was bad. it was OK back then but now its much better. my form back then still had my back flat on the bench, unlike those people who look like a fish when they bench. however, I needed to go down a lil bit more.

Max bench was 235... Haven't done a max in a long time. Prolly not so good right now, considering my marathon training has done away with weight lifting.

I will try for a max this coming Summer.
