See, my sister is really irregular and when she does get hers, she says it hurts so bad she has to take off work for it. I think she has PCOS, but she won't go get checked out. I can only hound her so much. I'm the complete opposite, totally regular every month for exactly seven days, albeit always in pain that first day. Then I got pregnant and I haven't really had a period since and my daughter will be turning five this December. It was definitely odd at first not having one, but I soon grew to love it. Never having a period is so awesome, such freedom without having to worry about if have TOM products stocked or in my purse. Can wear whatever I want and go swimming whenever I want. It's not as bad as you'd think. I only get crampy if I lift heavy things like moving furniture, so that's a plus. As for the type of IUD, I refuse to do ParaGard--the thought of copper in my body gets me all squeamish. At least with the Mirena it's just hormones being slowly released.
I'm "only" 6 places behind you.
