Hello everyone! It's been quite awhile since my last post. I had almost reached my goal, then fell prey to the holidays and put the weight back on. My new year's resolution, like many of us, is to get down to my ideal weight this year. I would really like to get down to 130- but I will settle for 145 as a successful resolution. I have included some NEW before photos as I don't really look anything like my old photos anymore. Here I am at about 175. (I apologize for any pain I may cause your eyes).

I'm excited to start. I will try to upload photos every two to four weeks to keep myself motivated! :)

I really want to work on getting rid of that pooch. I swear- I do cardio, and sit ups, and crunches- nothing seems to work. I'll just have to keep with it! It will go away eventually.

You're very pretty and we're starting at around the same weight! I, too, would be happy just at 145, which is the absolute highest I can be without being "overweight" according to those BMI charts. I don't mind being a little curvy, as long as I feel healthier, basically.

How tall are you? I only ask because I think you look at a lot better than I do at 175!

hey girl!! i would love to know how tall u are! im 5'6'' and i am also around 174! i cant get rid of my pooch either but i think if i loose the weight itll slim down a but i can already tell a difference good luck with ur weight loss!! i hope u succeed...

Thank you all very much for your kind comments!! This site is so positive, it really makes me want to continue on!!

To answer your questions, I am a little shy of 5'6''. (5'5'' and 3/4) haha. If I remember correctly, to be in the "normal" range (what is normal anyway?) I should be around 150 or lower. I am considering buying a treadmill with an incline because when I had a membership last year, I was speed walking with a large incline and burning almost 800 calories on average a day. I really love nature, the only problem is my road and all the roads surrounding me are completely flat, AND I have asthma- so jogging, or running is incredibly difficult for me. Also- speed walking in the snow is no fun! So hopefully I'll be able to do that soon, and see some nice results!

Thanks guys!! I'm hoping to have my boyfriend take a frontal shot of me in my sports bra and shorts so I can really see the changes. I'll upload them if/when this happens!!

I would kill for your curves darling! haha. I'm excited, hopefully March (or April- we're hoping March) will be the month in which I am happy with my body for the first time. :)

Hey hun.. Good luck, you're the same height as me :) (if only I was 5'8 I'd be the perfect weight..!) Look forward to seeing your progress.. Keep it up :)
