Hi!

Been lurking for a while, hit a plateau and looking for more motivation so even created an account.

Maybe seeing this will also encourage me with the last 20lbs

Before:

during: (only recent full body Pic I have lol)

Started at 219 back in December 08, trying to achieve 130 on a 5'7 Frame!

WOW what a change! congrats..doesn't it feel great?! Keep plugging away with the last bit that you want to lose..and don't even worry necessarily about the number of pounds anymore..you look healthy now so when you get to a point where you like the way you look that might be at 12 more pounds lost..don't push it to 20 lbs just because some calculator says that's a healthy weight for you.

You look great! How did you do it? I've been struggling with my weight for many years. We seem to have the same stats and goal.

Thanks.
Michelle

Thanks!

The change in my energy and how I feel is unbelievable. I feel and look 10 years younger!

I had tried yo-yo diets in the past, never really lost more than 15 lbs before giving up and gaining back. Too restrictive etc. In December of last year I decided to make a lifestyle change rather than just a diet.

I cut out all processed foods (yes I still have an occasional cheat) but it's no longer part of my regular eating. I eat tons of protein, leafy greens, very little sugar and refined carbs.

I would say that for the past few months my daily calorie average is about 1400-1600 but I also go to the gym a lot. I do an hour of cardio in the morning and weights 3x a week and I play on a few volleyball sports team. I built it into my routine and it became a lifestyle rather than a diet... and in turn I went from a size 20 to a 6-8.

If I can do it, I believe anyone can!

You look great! Definitely a huge change! Congrats on the weight loss! I'm down to the last 30-40lbs as well and having a tough time. Awesome job! :grouphug:

Wow what a trasformation, I bet you feel really proud of what you've accomplished.

Do you take measurements as well? Sometimes I find the scale doesn't budge but I've lost inches, and that can be really motivating.

I've also told myself that I can go clothes shopping when I lose another 7 pounds, so for me that helps me make better choices when I feel torn.
