Ok, I was going to blur out my face, but hey this is me, lets be real, I dont care who sees it, I goto the beach anyways and they have to put up with it down there hehe :)

So my story, 23 years old, horrible diet, addicted to weed and junk food.
used to be a ski tour guide/teacher/freestyle competitor, that all ended when i broke my back... anyways.

the pic on the left is of me 2 years ago in august, and the 2 pics on the right are of me about 20 minutes ago, at an incredible 250 pounds.

check it out...

Welcome to the forum! There's a ton of help and support on here. If you're ready to do this you'll find success :) What kind of diet/exercise plan are you thinking of doing? Make long term and short term goals to reach. Best of luck...and let me know if you need anything!

testing my ticker

thanks for the support idohair.

i was fat for a short while from about 14-16 and that time i just sort of, stopped being fat, it was weird, maybe a puberty thing, i dunno. i went through puberty, put on 50 pounds, once it was over, the 50 pounds just seemed to melt off.

now almost ten years later, i know the true meaning of being fat, and my back aches all day which leads me to smoke up, which is no good the way i treat it.

cmon ticker!

Good Luck with the weight loss bro. I thought I could never lose weight but 1 year later I dropped 110lbs. Motivation and changing the way you think about food is the most important part of a diet I think. Exercising will follow once you are locked onto your goal.

I know how you feel about 2 years ago i was in top shape, i let go of myself and now im fighting to get back to the way i used to look, keep going and stay strong and you'll achieve your goal. I find this site to be very supportive and it helps a lot. GOod luck with everything!

wow, thanks for the support people, i appreciate it!

ktown - 110 lbs is incredible way to go bro!

following the exercise regime is very hard, motivation is hard to find when you smoke all day, ill keep ya posted!

stop the weed bro..
once in awhile is alright, but when u smoke everyday its obviously an addiction. the side of effect of weed is munchies, for anyone who has never smoked before, it is pretty much a nasty hunger. it's nasty because it gets rid of all your inhibitions, while u have them u don't care if ur trying to lose weight or not, you'll eat w/e you wanna eat for the hell of it. I do it once in awhile, and that stuff is DEADLY do a diet, main reason i've cooled off on it for a bit... but if your back is killing you there are lots of other options, perscription painkillers, although slightly addictive, are MUCH better than weed... not to mention you're fucking up your lungs with all that smoke bro

oh yeah, a full blown addiction, I am just now, almost 10 years after i started smoking, trying to really really get out it. I was in the mindframe of wanting to smoke up before doing anything way to long, time to get out. Luckily I dont hang out with anyone who smokes and my gf doesnt smoke either, so the only thing that can hurt me is myself right now, it is a hard cycle to break out of, but one day at a time.

anyways im making a page in the diary forum so it will be easier to relay info to people.

good luck
