Hey all! I have been scoping out this page for about6 months now... I have finally got the courage to post! I have always been a small but curvy girl... I was 5'4, size 4 and 125At my highest... until I got into a really bad relationship …and like most others do... I turned to food. I maintained about 150-155 and a Size 10 and always just thought to myself ..."it doesn’t matter, I just need to lose like 25 pounds, I can do that whenever" … so fast forward to September 1st 2010, I decided to start my weight loss, after a terrible summer of wearing black pants and baggy shirts :ack2:.. I stepped on the Scale and it read a whopping 185.7... I literally broke down in tears and could Not believe I had let myself go that badly. so from September 1st 2010,to January 15th 2011 I went from 185 to 140.. GREAT I know! But ... Its march2nd and I have lost nothing since... I need motivation big time. I want to be able to wear cute clothes and a swim suit this summer!! I have tried and lost nothing.. Help! Here is my before and my in-between... my goal weight is 110 now.

Congrats on your weight loss so far! That's awesome!

I have the same problem, I've been an a weight loss plateau for 3 weeks now . What I now have tried is to further cut down on portion sizes and cut out all cake from my diet. But still to be seen if it works.

First congrats on the weight loss!! Then you should change your exercise routine if its the exact same you have been doing for a while. Once you plateau its because your body is used to what you have been doing so you should start really challenging your fitness more. If you haven't already added weight training then add it or if you are doing both then start doing something completely different like yoga or pilates for like a week or 2 and then go back to your routine.

Also how is your eating? If its perfect I would suggest make a change occasionally just to shake up your metabolism. If its not perfect then that's an easy fix too.

Good Luck!
