You are doing fabulous! I'm sure you'll hit your goal for August and even if you don't, you've come a long way and have conquered so much! Heck, so it takes an extra week to reach your goal? So be it. :) You remind me of a young, clean-shaven David Gahan of Depeche Mode. Oh to be young again.. haha!

Thanks, i suppose its ok since i upped the target, the main one was to get under 12 stone.

As for David Gahan i'll take that as a compliment, the one i get the most is zach braff.

Well, half way through the year and i've made progress, i'm now aiming to be 12 pounds lighter by the time the year is out and i see no reason why i can't achieve it.

I didnt make my birthday target, due to the holiday but i i've got my bmi down to 25.5, just want to get it down below that 25, tone up a bit more and i'll be happy.

I can see the change and am so glad i've done this, well worthwhile and cant help but be proud within myself.

Got me a lil computer for my bike to measure distance/speed/time ad such, took it out for a little test run today.

16.3 miles
12.5mph average speed
29.9 max speed

Now i'm the competitive sort, even when it comes down to competing with myself so this will help motiviation:)
 
Keep up the good work, that is awesome.

A good thing to do also is try to measure your HR. For me personally, I don't care about the distance, I want my HR up.

And I think HR is a great way to know how intense the activity is. Your body adapts over time and gets used to the same activity...so looking at your HR is a definite sign that you are exercising intensely.
 
Working by calories seems to be working at the minute, using this mini computer i can now use my average to workout approx calories burned.
That session today burned about 1000, i do that and sometimes more on a ride 2-4 times a week.

Last night i had prettymuch the biggest realisation of how much i've changed. I have this motorcycle jacket, which at my largest, i prettymuch filled, then after loosing some i bought a new one in june which was smaller, it was snug but fit nonetheless, now its comfortable with a little room.

Last night i needed to take both of them with me on my motorbike, i didnt have time to affix extra luggage and my backpack was full, so i had a thought.

I managed to put my old jacket over my new one and zip them both up fully :eek2:


Well chuffed i was:)
 
Today i decided to add something, so hiit it is then.

For those who say '' i dont have time to exercise'' i think this is perfect, 20 mins of it a few times a week is easy to fit in.

I used the stairs, what could be more convenient?

So, my top tip for the day, use the stairs if you need to cram in some quick exercise:)

Oh and i found a comparison i did a lil while back but lost.

I do feel pretty good, although i've been around the 12st mark for a while now and it doesn't seem to be shifting, i'm doing quite a lot of muscle building exercises so hoping its that displacing the fat which is keeping my weight where it is - i can feel my abs underneath my ''layer'' of fat getting bigger, so its only a matter of time before they show:rolleyes:

I don't know if its just the way i see myself or what, but although i can see a difference i can't seem to fatham as much of a difference as i would expect - i feel like i look more than i weigh, if that makes any sense.

Anyway enough of my ramblings.:rotflmao:
