Before 174 lbs / Current 159 lbs (F 5'3" 26 yrs) PICS / Goal 128 lbs

My goal is 128 lbs or 125 lbs. I've weighed the same before and it's a really good natural weight for me, I do tend to have a fairly athletic build when I'm thin, so even 132 would be fine.

I have one "before" photo at 174 lbs. which isn't the best quality. Most remarkably, I really was sad and skeptical that the cellulite wouldn't go away. It felt emotionally discouraging. But now, only two months later, I've noticed a HUGE difference! It's really possible! I can't wait to watch the rest of the weight slip right off...

To anyone who feels discouraged about their "in between" or current weight - remember - we're not done! And don't forget to remind yourself of how far you've come. Even if you have a long way to go, it is absolutely possible.

I hope it doesn't bother you, I used your picture to try out a , and turn out in this:

I understand how it works, it's a cheap photo trick but I find better to have ME as an inspiration to the weight loss track. And I need it to try it out but I had no pictures so I used one of you.

No prob, it's anonymous so it's cool :)

It's pretty inspiring to see how I could possibly look after weight loss!

Awesome job! I'm about five pounds away from where you are and around the same height. Thanks for the reminder about not being done yet--sometimes I get discouraged because I'm not where I want to be, but I try to remember that I don't really care how long it takes as long as I get there at my own pace.

You're doing great! I'm the middle/beginning of trying to get in shape/lose a modest amount of weight, as well, and I'm starting to see a fit person coming out of my body, somewhat. In two months of running/yoga/light calisthenics, I've started to tone up a bit, but not lost much weight. I also know I'll get there, I've done it before through steady perseverance. My weight has fluctuated slightly +/-20lbs. due to injury, poor eating habits, and inactivity.

I, too, have had a cellulite improvement. I'm always happy to see it go!

I'm a decade older than you, and a bit taller, but I see my body-type in yours--mesomorphic, solid, strong. Know that getting in shape, losing weight, and gaining healthy habits now will make it easier to maintain as you get older. I can see that in-between-ness in your picture--just keep up what you're doing, you're getting there!

What's best is feeling better about myself, having a goal I know I am reaching, better moods, sleeping, etc.--just getting a healthy routine to last my lifetime. I've stopped and restarted on this path before, lost some modest progress through a workplace injury, wintertime depression, unhealthy self-image and diets.

Now, I'm not in a hurry to lose weight or fit an image in my head. I just want to be healthy and strong! And maintain it!

Kalima,
Your words are so encouraging! Thank you for such insightful thoughts - I agree with you on the "strong" and "healthy" part - that is absolutely the goal. I have been focusing on that and eating for my would-be weight plus three times a week exercise at least. It's funny how our lives take ups and downs, pushes and pulls, and that sometimes a few years can go by and all of the sudden we've gained weight, we're out of shape, and we're not sure why. Losing weight can also be a great precurser to mindful living, I think :)

Good luck to you too!

Hey,

You have come so far with your weight loss, well done and your definitely right were not done. I know a have a few more pounds to go before I can reach 130 pounds.

Great job :)

Hey just coming in to say keep up the awesome work! You're doing great and I hope things turn out the best for you : D : D

This is an older thread but I'll post anyway:
Even in your old photo you still have a nice figure. You're fortunate. I guess life sometimes gives us pre-made lemonade huh? lol
